Coming up we have a heavyweight MMA rules bout between Lyoto Andres (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and Mirko Gaselovic (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). Lyoto Andres is staring across the cage at his opponent, tweaking his nipples... Tweaking his own nipples that is.

Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the heavyweight division.
Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner.

And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner.
With a record of 1 - 2 - 0, fighting out of New York, Mirko Gaselovic!
The judges for this bout are Jonathan Paton, Lou da Vinci and Reed Andrews.

The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Gaselovic shoots in for a takedown. "I don't think so" says Andres as he avoids it easily.
Andres looks exhausted already! Oh dear, he should have come in in better shape than this!
Andres tries a head kick but it misses.
Andres moves into range and throws a lovely three punch combination.
Andres shoots in with a takedown attempt and he has Gaselovic pinned against the cage. Gaselovic gets the underhooks and manages to circle away.

Andres changes levels and drives through with a really nice takedown into side control. Gaselovic looks really pissed at himself for not defending that better.
The ground and pound from Andres seems to be hitting the mat more than his opponent.
Andres prevents Gaselovic from escaping the position.
Andres tries to get to his feet but Gaselovic is in the middle of advancing position himself and ends up with Andres in his guard.
Gaselovic is trying to control the position but Andres postures up.

It looks like we're going to have a standup here. Neither fighter is doing enough on the ground.
Andres leaves Gaselovic with his face pressed against the mat as he sprawls beautifully, defending against a solid takedown attempt.

Andres tries to keep at a distance but Gaselovic has taken the fight into the clinch.

The crowd are getting on the fighters' backs, as the pace has dropped off in the last minute or so.
Andres gets underhooks to prevent Gaselovic's takedown attempt.
Lyoto Andres has stuffed three takedown attempts in the round now. That's going to take a lot out of Mirko Gaselovic.
Andres is pressed up against the cage. Gaselovic has hold of a leg and is looking to drag Andres down to the mat. Andres avoids the attempt though and has circled away. We're back to striking at a distance.
Gaselovic displays good takedown defense there as he swats away a double leg from Andres.

Gaselovic tries to close the distance and clinch but Andres swats him to one side with an open hand palm strike and circles away.

Andres throws the overhand right but ducks down into a quick takedown attempt. Gaselovic was covering up waiting for the punch and Andres finishes the takedown easily into guard.

Andres drops back, looking for a kneebar! Gaselovic looks panicked! The fighters roll across the mat, one looking to finish, one looking to escape. Gaselovic looks to have wriggled free... Yes, he's got his leg free and he's dived into side control! Good work there from Gaselovic!
Andres is looking for a sweep.
Andres takes an elbow right on the bridge of the nose and winces in pain.
The fighters are starting to perspire pretty heavily.
What's Andres going to do here then? He's in a bit of a pickle.

The crowd are hurling abuse towards the fighters... You can hardly blame them though because there isn't a lot going on in the fight.
Gaselovic throws an elbow but Andres slips to the side and avoids it well.
The fighters are pressed up against the cage, both looking to find a bit of space to work.
Andres bucks up and tries to throw Gaselovic off but instead Gaselovic has got his back!
The ref warns both fighters not to hold the cage as they work up against the meshing.
Gaselovic doesn't have the hooks in and Andres manages to turn into his guard.

Both fighters are absolutely exhausted here.

Andres throws a looping left and ducks down for a takedown. He's got his arms around Gaselovic's waist but Gaselovic gets an underhook and avoids the takedown by throwing Andres off to one side.

There's not a lot going on here and the crowd are letting the fighters know they're not willing to tolerate a lack of action.
