Coming up we have a light heavyweight MMA rules bout between Salvatore Greco (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and Kobe Bryant (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). Chooooooooon! I think Greco might be my favorite fighter, now he's come out to Bring the Pain - Method Man. Salvatore Greco could well score a knockout today. He has the power to get to Kobe Bryant's chin.

The crowd are showing their displeasure at the lack of action as loud boos ring out around the arena.

Greco shoots in for a takedown - he's clinched up with Bryant but Bryant pushes him off and we're back to square one.
Greco changes levels and looks for a double leg takedown. Bryant tries to avoid it but Greco manages to keep hold of a leg and drag Bryant to the ground. Bryant escapes though and pops straight back up to his feet.
Bryant dips down and scores with a jab to the body.
Bryant keeps the fight standing with a nice sprawl.
Bryant explodes with a nice body kick and back out of range. Nice work.
Greco with a dominant takedown and that's winded Bryant.

The ref warns both fighters not to hold the cage as they work up against the meshing.
Greco stands up over Bryant, holding his feet. He dives back in and lands a decent shot to the head.
Bryant is still in real trouble! Can Greco finish him?

Greco wants to work for a kimura but he's foiled early by Bryant, who protects the arm well.

Greco has control of Bryant's right arm, working for a kimura. It's a bit of a token attempt though and Bryant regains control of the situation pretty easily.
The crowd growing excited in anticipation of a finish here! Right on cue, Greco cracks his opponent with a massive right hand that draws loud cheers!

Greco thuds his fist into the canvas! Oooouch!
Greco cracks Bryant with a nasty head shot there - the crowd let out an audible gasp there, as the noise reverberated around the arena.
A nice elbow there by Greco.
That has opened up Kobe Bryant's cut even more.
This is a great period of action - very entertaining stuff!
Greco lands a big shot there that rocks Bryant but he's holding on and managing to survive for now.

Kobe Bryant's cut is absolute horrible now. This looks like something out of a horror film with blood covering both fighters.
The referee calls the doctor in to look at Kobe Bryant's cut. Oh no, the doctor has called an end to the bout!
