Coming up we have a welterweight MMA rules bout between John McClane (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and Zacharia Steele (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). McClane comes into the arena with Immortal Technique -- Point of No Return blaring out of the sound system. Steele has chosen Rock You Like A Hurricane as his entrance music. John McClane has the edge in experience - let's see if he can make that count tonight.

The bell rings for round one and we are underway!

McClane feints and then dives in with a takedown. That was a long way out but the feint bought him enough time to close the distance and complete the takedown. Now we'll play guard for a bit and see who can get the better of that position.
The fighters are pressed up against the cage, both looking to find a bit of space to work.
McClane not doing a lot at the moment. He'll have to show some more aggression or the fight will get stood up.
Steele keeping full guard, as McClane tries to pass.
McClane throws and elbow that misses. Steele uses the momentum to reverse the position. He's now in McClane's guard. Nice move by Steele!
McClane wants to improve his position but instead Steele has moved into half guard.
McClane holds on for dear life, maintaining half guard for now.

McClane lands a big shot there that rocks Steele but he's holding on and managing to survive for now.

McClane is still in mount, landing shots to his trapped opponent. Steele can't stay in a position like this for much longer.
Steele is in a horrible position here. McClane smacks him with another shot as he tries to escape the position.

McClane swings around for an armbar but it's a sloppy attempt and Steele is now in McClane's guard. A big mistake from McClane there, giving up the dominant position!
McClane is striking from the bottom but Steele uses the opportunity to pass into half guard.
McClane lands a couple of sideways elbows.
As the round comes to an end the crowd are showing their appreciation for a great round of action.
McClane gets full guard.

McClane had isolated an arm as going for an omaplata. Steele is defending the submission well but is in a very vulnerable position. McClane Is leaning forward trying to finish the omaplata but decides to abandon it, and take Steele's back instead.
McClane lands a big shot to the side of the head and Steele goes limp! He's out cold - the ref jumps in to save him from more punishment!
