Coming up we have a featherweight MMA rules bout between Repe Sorsa (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and Kim Zhan Yung (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). Both fighters will be looking to make this an exciting fight for the fans, I'm sure!

Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the featherweight division.
Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner.
With a record of 5 - 2 - 0, fighting out of Montreal, Repe Sorsa!
And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner.
With a record of 3 - 1 - 0, fighting out of Montreal, Kim Zhan Yung!
The judges for this bout are Steve Smith, William Peck and Gregory Folan.




The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Yung shoots in for a takedown. "Ole!" shouts Sorsa as he jumps to the side.
Yung shoots in looking for a double leg takedown. Sorsa defends it nicely.
Sorsa throws a right and a left that Yung avoids nicely.
Yung bobs and weaves well there to avoid the strikes.
Yung tries to clinch but is not successful on this occasion.
Yung fails with a rather predictable takedown attempt.
Repe Sorsa has stuffed three takedown attempts in the round now. That's going to take a lot out of Kim Zhan Yung.
Yung avoids a punch combination nicely.
Sorsa keeps the fight standing with a nice sprawl.

Sorsa is not content to let Yung control the position.

Yung is sneakily working for an arm triangle but Sorsa sees it coming and defends easily.

Well, the referee has seen enough. Neither fighter is active enough on the ground so he's stood them back up.
Horrible takedown by Yung or perhaps it was just good defense by Sorsa which made him look bad.

Kim Zhan Yung seems to be the more aggressive standup fighter in this bout.

Yung throws a looping left and ducks down for a takedown. He's got his arms around Sorsa's waist but Sorsa gets an underhook and avoids the takedown by throwing Yung off to one side.

Sorsa stalks Yung and leaps in with a furious combination of punches. Uppercuts and crosses smash into Yung's face. Yung staggers backwards, shaken.

Yung shoots in for a takedown! He's got it and he's managed to land in full mount! That's better than Yung was expecting from the takedown attempt, I'm sure!

Yung swings around for an armbar but it's a sloppy attempt and Sorsa is now in Yung's guard. A big mistake from Yung there, giving up the dominant position!
Sorsa loading up with the ground and pound but he's missing more than he's landing in this flurry.

Yung is working actively off his back, looking to secure an arm or perhaps work for a triangle.

Sorsa thinks about going for a leg but decides against it, in order to maintain the position.

Yung is looking for a guillotine. You can't force these things though and Sorsa defends well.

Yung shakes his hands off, looking to compose himself, but takes a jab to the jaw whilst he does it.

Yung shoots in for a takedown but Sorsa shows good takedown defense there and keeps this one on the feet.
Sorsa will need to tighten up his combinations if he doesn't want to gas himself out, swinging at thin air.

Sorsa lands a beauty of a right hand that gets the crowd cheering.
Sorsa throws a series of strikes that have Yung backpedaling.
Yung shoots in for a takedown - he's clinched up with Sorsa but Sorsa pushes him off and we're back to square one.
Yung takes a punch to the jaw and another one to the bread basket.
Yung chopped to the floor by a nice leg kick but he springs right back up before Sorsa can pounce on him.

I would just about give that final round to Kim Zhan Yung.
