The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Johnson fails to land with the punch combination there - jab, cross, hook, miss, miss, miss.
Johnson tries to close the distance and clinch up against the cage but james paws at him with a jab and circles away.
james circles away from the clinch attempt.
Johnson misses with a few strikes there.
Johnson throws a combination but it was largely blocked by james.
Johnson fails in his attempt to clinch.
Johnson is looking to clinch.
Johnson tries a low kick but james avoids it.
Johnson throws a right hand that james ducks under and follows up with a left that james also avoids with ease.
james showing good head movement there, avoiding the strikes from Johnson.
Johnson misses with a wild body shot.
We've had a slow start to the round here - hopefully the action picks up.
Johnson throws a head kick that misses.
Johnson shoots in for a takedown and gets it. Oh and he's advanced to full mount straight away.
Johnson lands a shot to the body, followed up by a shot to the exposed head of his trapped opponent.
Johnson has his opponent pinned against the cage, landing some nasty ground and pound that is really making a bit of a mess out of james's face.
Johnson is landing with some decent strikes but james is trying to advance his position so the referee is letting the fight continue.
It looks like lebron james has been cut.

james tries to buck Johnson off but he can't manage it.
The ref warns both fighters not to hold the cage as they work up against the meshing.
Johnson lands a couple of nice shots there from mount.
That has opened up lebron james's cut even more.

The cut above lebron james's eye is starting to cause him problems now.
The referee calls the doctor in to look at lebron james's cut. Oh no, the doctor has called an end to the bout!
