The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Daimon wants to clinch.

Mitsuharu tries to jump guard but he falls flat on his backside. Daimon smiles and moves away.
Daimon tries to clinch but Mitsuharu is having none of it.
Mitsuharu shoots in for a takedown but Daimon shows good takedown defense there and keeps this one on the feet.
Mitsuharu swats away the attempt to clinch by Daimon.
Daimon fails with an attempt to clinch.
Daimon fakes with an overhand right and moves in to clinch with Mitsuharu, pushing him back against the cage.
We've had a slow start to the round here - hopefully the action picks up.

Fantastic stuff here - a very entertaining period of action, which has drawn cheers from the crowd.
Daimon has Mitsuharu pressed up against the cage in a tight Thai clinch. Mitsuharu is arching his back, trying to avoid the knees but a big one sneaks through from Daimon - that's hurt Mitsuharu badly! Oh, another knee lands and Mitsuharu is covering up! The referee steps in to save him - possibly a bit early but Mitsuharu doesn't seem to be complaining.
Ladies and gentlemen, after 1:29 of round 1, we have a winner by way of TKO (Knees). Nocturnal Daimon!
