Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the light heavyweight division.

The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Cassius scores with a jab.
Boston stalks Cassius and leaps in with a furious combination of punches. Uppercuts and crosses smash into Cassius's face. Cassius staggers backwards, shaken.

It looks like Giaus Cassius has been cut.
Boston misses the shot to the body.
Cassius shoots for a takedown but Boston saw that one coming a mile off and avoided it easily.
Cassius looks to land a body kick but Boston moved away.
Boston ducks under a wild hook from Cassius.

Cassius rushes Boston and pushes him back against the cage in a clinch.

Boston manages to break the clinch.

Cassius closes the distance and scores a nice trip takedown into half guard. Boston did well to prevent Cassius getting side control.
We've seen a great period of action over the last minute or so - credit to both fighters for going all out!
Cassius wants to pass to mount but Boston is defending the position.

Boston is looking for a sweep. Cassius is wise to his cunning plan and keeps the top position.

Boston is looking to sinch up a guillotine here but Cassius pulls his head out easily.
Boston might be looking to lock onto one of his opponent's long limbs for a submission, whilst we're on the ground.
Boston is looking to regain full guard. Not this time though.

Cassius wants to lay and pray for a moment but Boston keeps working.
The ref warns both fighters not to hold the cage as they work up against the meshing.

Boston is looking to sinch up a guillotine here but Cassius pulls his head out easily.

Well, the referee has seen enough. Neither fighter is active enough on the ground so he's stood them back up.
Cassius tries to close the distance and clinch but Boston swats him to one side with an open hand palm strike and circles away.
Boston throws a body punch but Cassius moves out of range.

Boston gets caught on his heels momentarily as he allows Cassius to score an easy takedown into full guard.
Boston is trying to keep Cassius in close.
Boston looking for a sweep. Not yet Boston, not yet.

Boston is active off his back here, looking for submissions.

Cassius lands a couple of elbows.
There's a bit of a scramble here and now Boston is on top in guard.
Cassius working a defensive guard here.
Cassius looking to hit a scissor sweep but Boston is one step ahead there.
Boston wanted to stand there but Cassius had control of the position.
Cassius is working an open guard here, looking to improve his position. No doubt that will leave him open to counters but at least he's being more offensive.

The fighters are starting to get a bit slippery now, which will make submissions a bit more difficult.
Boston decides to stand up and beckons his opponent to follow.
Cassius shoots in but Boston avoids the takedown attempt easily.
Giaus Cassius seems to be the more aggressive standup fighter in this bout.
Cassius throws the kick towards the body but Boston avoids it.
Cassius fakes high and shoots in for a takedown but Boston avoids it really well and circles away.
Nero Boston has stuffed three takedown attempts in the round now. That's going to take a lot out of Giaus Cassius.

Boston feints and then winds up with a huge right hand that connects perfectly and sends Cassius sprawling to the canvas! Cassius rolls over backwards and springs off the cage and manages to regain his footing - how acrobatic! Oh, he's still wobbly - can Boston finish him?!
Cassius tries to clinch up but Boston circles away and keeps his distance.
Boston fakes a head shot and lands one to the body.
The fans in attendance giving it up for the two fighters, who have really let it all hang out in the last minute or so!

Boston swings wildly with a right hand that was never going to find it's target.
