The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Souza lands the left hand.
Mussum showing good head movement there, avoiding the strikes from Souza.
Mussum looks to land a right hand but Souza moved out of range.
Mussum misses with a looping right.
Mussum tries a switch kick but it misses it's target.
Souza misses with a looping right.
Souza throws a looping overhand right but Mussum ducks down to avoid it.
Mussum throws a low kick but Souza avoids it.
Souza dances in with a quick combination. Mussum is being worked over with jabs and crosses. Oooh, a right straight from Souza snaps Mussum's head back. Mussum stumbles backwards against the cage. Souza steps forward and delivers a right cross that connects with Mussum's jaw, simultaneously knocking him out and sending his mouthpiece into the crowd! There's a worthy souvenir for the fans. This one is over folks. Mussum just didn't come prepared.
