The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
A swing and a miss from Soto.
Soto looks frustrated there after his takedown attempt is stuffed easily.
Franco scores with a one two! Soto had his feet all tangled up there and couldn't avoid the strikes.
Soto on the wrong end of a nice hook.
Franco lands a head shot.
Soto looks for a takedown but Franco sprawls well.
Soto shoots for a takedown but Franco saw that one coming a mile off and avoided it easily.
That's three failed takedown attempts in the round for Marvin Soto. That's going to take a lot out of him.
Soto shoots in looking for a takedown. Franco tries to sprawl out of it but Soto keeps driving through. The fighters are pinned against the cage. Franco manages to get underhooks and after a bit of a struggle, circles away and we're back to standing.

Franco uses good footwork to get in and out and land a nice right hand before Soto has time to react.

Franco lunges in with an uppercut that skims his opponent's chin.
Soto really does look like a pencil wearing a pair of gloves. Let's hope he has a gameplan to suit that ridiculous body shape.

Franco throws a nice hook to the body that draws an oooh from the crowd.
Soto takes a punch to the jaw and another one to the bread basket.

Franco fakes and then throws a beautiful body shot. Soto looks a bit winded and takes a step backwards to take a breath.
Oh Soto is still all over the place! His legs are completely gone! Will he be able to recover?!!
Soto switches off momentarily and Franco cracks him with a monster right hand! Soto topples backwards and makes a semi conscious attempt to cover up, as Franco dives in to land one more shot, before the referee has time to call the fight. What a finish by Franco!
