Coming up we have a welterweight MMA rules bout between Fred Nowitzki (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and Tyler Trude (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). These two fighters really are very evenly matched on the feet - it will be fascinating to see who can assert themselves in that aspect of the fight.

The bell rings for round one and we are underway!

No joy there for Nowitzki, who threw a few shots but didn't land.

That was a close second round but I would say that Fred Nowitzki will probably get the nod.

Trude throws a combination but it was largely blocked by Nowitzki.

The referee has ruled that neither fighter is active enough on the ground and has stood them back up.
Nowitzki fails with a takedown attempt from distance.

Nowitzki shoots in but no luck this time.
Trude swings wildly with a couple of big hooks

and Nowitzki decides to take the opportunity to score a takedown. He's landed in Trude's guard.

Trude pulls Nowitzki in close to his closed guard and prevents Nowitzki from doing any damage or advancing position.

Fred Nowitzki overall seems to be getting the better of the ground position in the fight so far.

Well I reckon that's a shut out for Nowitzki, winning every round. Will the judges agree? They are the ones who matter, even if they are often depressingly incompetent. Over to the ring announcer for the scorecards.
