Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the light heavyweight division.
Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner.
With a record of 4 - 4 - 0, fighting out of Tokyo, Chuck McBuck!
And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner.
With a record of 2 - 1 - 0, fighting out of Tokyo, Valor Takishi!
The judges for this bout are Hirohito Nitta, Taro Takaoka and Yasuomi Hirokawa.




The bell rings for round one and we are underway!

McBuck scores a takedown into full mount!

McBuck has been looking to land a fair amount of strikes on the ground. He might be looking to soften his opponent up in order to work for a submission.
Takishi tries to reverse the position but McBuck maintains control.

Takishi walks straight into an uppercut. Luckily it didn't land flush.
Chuck McBuck seems to be the more aggressive standup fighter in this bout.
Takishi shoots in but doesn't get the takedown
letting McBuck counter with a right hand.

McBuck scores with a nice takedown into half guard. Let's see what he's got on the ground.

Takishi is looking to sinch up a guillotine here but McBuck pulls his head out easily.
Well, if McBuck is going to just lie there, perhaps we should talk about what we're having for dinner tonight… I'm having a ham and pineapple pizza… Yum. Can't wait.

Neither fighter is being very active at the moment, with McBuck in particular looking to stall.
Takishi is working for an escape here. He's hooked one of McBuck's legs and he's managed to sneak out and take McBuck's back!

Takishi looking to break McBuck's wrist control so he can sink in the choke. McBuck remaining controlled and patient though - he really has to keep calm otherwise Takishi will wrap this one up with the rear naked choke!

and McBuck counters with a nice shoot takedown that brings the fighters to the ground.
