Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the middleweight division.
Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner.
With a record of 3 - 0 - 0, fighting out of New York, Kris Kringle!
And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner.
With a record of 2 - 1 - 0, fighting out of New York, Kendrick Christiansen!
The judges for this bout are David Schapiro, Eddie Farnsworth and Dean Styles.




The bell rings for round one and we are underway!

Kringle shoots in from a long way out. He's driving through with the takedown attempt and he eventually gets it, landing in Christiansen's guard.
Kringle working some ground and pound from guard but it's not doing any damage.
Kringle trying to control but Christiansen is working from the bottom.
Kringle wants to stand but Christiansen is controlling his posture from full guard.
Christiansen is looking to get back to his feet but can't, whilst Kringle is controlling him.

Kringle gets to his feet and steps away from his opponent.
Christiansen moves in looking to clinch but Kringle pushes him off.
Kringle swats away the attempt to clinch by Christiansen.

Kringle shoots in for a takedown and gets it. Let's see what he's got on the mat.
Kringle wants to control from the top but Christiansen keeps moving.
Christiansen is trying to stand up but he's not managed so far.

Kringle has been looking to land a fair amount of strikes on the ground. He might be looking to soften his opponent up in order to work for a submission.
Christiansen wants to control here, rather than go for any submissions from the bottom. At least for now.
Christiansen wants to stand and escape but Kringle is having none of it.

Neither fighter is doing enough for the referee's liking and he's decided to stand them back up.
Kringle closes the distance and clinches up with Christiansen, looking for a takedown. Kringle pushes Christiansen against the cage but Christiansen circles to the side and manages to break the clinch.

The crowd are showing their displeasure at the lack of action as loud boos ring out around the arena.
Christiansen is looking to clinch but Kringle is avoiding it.

Kringle tries to keep at a distance but Christiansen has taken the fight into the clinch.

Kringle's head jolts backwards as he takes an uppercut right on the button!

Christiansen lands a big head kick that sends Kringle tumbling to the mat! Christiansen takes a step backwards and waves Kringle back to his feet - he wants the finish!

It looks like Kris Kringle has been cut.

Kringle shoots in looking for a takedown. Christiansen tries to sprawl out of it but Kringle keeps driving through. The fighters are pinned against the cage. Christiansen manages to get underhooks and after a bit of a struggle, circles away and we're back to standing.
Christiansen fakes low and throws an overhand right that catches Kringle on the side of the head.

Christiansen continues to stall. The referee tells him to work or he's going to break them up.

Kringle changes levels and looks for a double leg takedown. Christiansen tries to avoid it but Kringle manages to keep hold of a leg and drag Christiansen to the ground. Christiansen escapes though and pops straight back up to his feet.

The referee is keeping an eye on Christiansen - much more stalling and he will separate the fighters.

With the fighters clinched against the cage, Christiansen creates a bit of distance for himself and scores with a nice uppercut.
Christiansen lands a hook to the body. It's hard to tell if that hurt Kringle or not.
We've seen a great period of action over the last minute or so - credit to both fighters for going all out!
Christiansen lands with a good tight uppercut to the head.
The pace slowing considerably in the clinch, as Christiansen takes a break from that fighting nonsense to think about the finer things in life.
Christiansen pushes Kringle back against the cage and unloads with a body punch.

As the round comes to an end the crowd are showing their appreciation for a great round of action.

Christiansen lands with a good tight uppercut to the head.

The referee calls for Christiansen to work.

Oooooooooooh, not good. A low kick from Kringle lands where it shouldn't have, right in the... well, you know what he did? He kicked him in the penis. He's injured, injured bad. The referee sends both fighters to their corners and Christiansen has 5 minutes to recover. He's OK now though... a thumbs up from Christiansen and we're back underway with a touch of gloves.
