Coming up we have a heavyweight MMA rules bout between Hessu Hopo (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and Riku Rikki (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). Both fighters really staring eachother down here, as Riku Rikki enters the cage!

Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the heavyweight division.

The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Hopo throws a right and a left that both miss.
Hopo looks to score with a combo but nothing lands.
Rikki shoots in for a takedown but Hopo shows good takedown defense.
Rikki fails miserably with a takedown attempt.
Hopo throws a nice looking combination but Rikki bobs and weaves to avoid any damage.
Hopo leaves Rikki with his face pressed against the mat as he sprawls beautifully, defending against a solid takedown attempt.
Hessu Hopo has stuffed three takedown attempts in the round now. That's going to take a lot out of Riku Rikki.
Rikki shoots in with a takedown attempt and he has Hopo pinned against the cage. Hopo gets the underhooks and manages to circle away.
Rikki shoots in for a takedown but Hopo shows good takedown defense there and keeps this one on the feet.
Rikki tries to shoot in for a takedown. He's got hold of a leg but Hopo swivels and escapes.
We've had a slow start to the round here - hopefully the action picks up.
Rikki looks for a takedown here. Will he get it? Hopo is fending him off so far but Rikki persists. Nope, Hopo circles away and we're back to standing.
Hopo could do with loosing a few pounds - he looks very soft around the mid section, to put it politely.
Hopo misses with a jab, cross combination.
Rikki fails with the takedown.

Hopo closes the distance and clinches.

Hopo has hold of one of Rikki's legs. Rikki is fighting the takedown attempt but Hopo gets the trip and lands the takedown into guard.

Hopo wants to control but Rikki is keeping him busy.
Rikki tries to buck Hopo off but Hopo is having none of it.
Rikki looks gassed!

Rikki tries to get to full guard but Hopo has control of the leg.
Hopo has been looking to land a fair amount of strikes on the ground. He might be looking to soften his opponent up in order to work for a submission.

Hopo has hold of the far side arm. He's working for the Kimura, can Rikki defend it? Hopo steps over the head and cranks it - Rikki is tapping out! That was textbook stuff right there - nice submission victory for Hopo!
