The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Riddell closes the distance and takes a jab right on the nose as he does so.
Wazher throws a wild combination but nothing lands.
Nice sprawl there from Wazher as Riddell shoots in.
Wazher feints with a shoulder and throws a nice leg kick to Riddell's calf.
Wazher scores with a crisp jab that stopped Riddell in his tracks.
Riddell shoots in for a takedown but Wazher shows good takedown defense.

Wazher fakes an overhand right and shoots for a takedown. Riddell sprawls well initially but Wazher persists and gets the takedown into half guard.

Wazher goes for an armbar but he's not got it… Riddell turns into him and now he's in Wazher's guard.
Riddell stands up and looks to throw the legs aside to pass to side control. Wazher swivels though and keeps the full guard.

Wazher had isolated an arm as going for a kimura. Riddell defends it easily.
Riddell tries to free his leg and advance position but Wazher is retaining full guard.

Riddell avoids a guillotine attempt easily.
A big thud reverberates around the arena there as Riddell accidentally thumps the mat. Hopefully he's not broken his hand.

Riddell takes an uppercut right on the button but keeps his composure.
Wazher connects with a leg kick. He turned his hip over nicely there.

Riddell turning a nasty shade of purple. He's refusing to tap but he's gone! He's out! The ref rips Wazher off and cradles Riddell's limp body as Wazher celebrates with his corner.
