Coming up we have a middleweight MMA rules bout between Christian Steggman (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and Kinnison Brickshaw (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). Brickshaw is bobbing his head along to his entrance song: I will be heard by Hatebreed. The key to victory for Christian Steggman has got to be keeping the fight on the feet.

Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 5 rounds, for the middleweight championship of the world!
Introducing the champion to my left, fighting out of the red corner.
With a record of
5 - 0 - 0, fighting out of Las Vegas, Christian Steggman!
And introducing the challenger to my right, fighting out of the blue corner.
With a record of
4 - 1 - 0, fighting out of Las Vegas, Kinnison Brickshaw!
The judges for this bout are Cecil Peabody, Wesley Smith and Tiny Johnson.
The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Brickshaw gets caught flat footed, as Steggman shoots in with a quick takedown into guard.
Brickshaw had isolated an arm as going for an omaplata. Steggman is defending the submission well but is in a very vulnerable position. Brickshaw Is leaning forward trying to finish the omaplata but decides to abandon it, and take Steggman's back instead.
Steggman tries to escape the position.
Steggman trying to control but he's just got himself in more trouble.
Steggman breaks Brickshaw's hooks off and manages to turn into his guard.
Brickshaw can't do much from the bottom at the moment, as Steggman controls the pace.
Steggman stands up and looks to throw the legs aside to pass to side control. Brickshaw swivels though and keeps the full guard.
Brickshaw working for a triangle but Steggman defends it easily.
Brickshaw looking for submissions off his back, moving his hips, looking for an opening.
Steggman trying to pass the guard but can't manage it just yet.

The fighters are pressed up against the cage, both looking to find a bit of space to work.
Steggman seems content to control from guard here. He's going to have to remain active though if he doesn't want to get stood back up.
Brickshaw looking for submissions off his back, moving his hips, looking for an opening.
That's one minute gone in the round.
Steggman throwing strikes but missing.
Brickshaw is working actively off his back, looking to secure an arm or perhaps work for a triangle.
Brickshaw looks gassed!
Brickshaw has his foot on Steggman's thigh. He's trying to push off and get in position for a triangle, I think. Steggman works his way back into a safe position though.
Steggman slows down the pace of the fight, as he sits in guard.
Brickshaw keeping moving, preventing Steggman from controlling successfully.
Steggman avoids a guillotine attempt easily.
Steggman slips nicely into half guard.
Brickshaw is pressing down on Steggman's left leg trying to get back to full guard. He's managed it.
Steggman stands up and looks to throw the legs aside to pass to side control. Brickshaw swivels though and keeps the full guard.
There's a bit of a scramble here and now Brickshaw is on top in guard.
That's two minutes gone in the round.
Brickshaw pressing down on his opponent's thigh, looking to pass guard. Steggman is keeping the position for now.
Brickshaw sneaks a leg through and gets to half guard. That was like a knife through butter how easily he passed Steggman's guard.
Brickshaw looking to pass the half guard. Not this time.
Brickshaw is thinking about going for an arm triangle but he can't free his leg.
Brickshaw is trying for a kimura here. Steggman looks like he's in a lot of pain... and he's tapping out! Brickshaw wins by kimura!
