The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
A nice combination there by Foster.
Sparrow is trying hard to land a takedown here. Foster sprawls well and keeps this one on the feet.
James Foster seems to be the more aggressive standup fighter in this bout.
Foster throws a right and a left that both miss.
Horrible takedown by Sparrow or perhaps it was just good defense by Foster which made him look bad.

Foster sizes up Sparrow with a pawing jab and scores with a straight right down the middle.

Foster punishes Sparrow's body with a nice straight punch.
Foster dips down and scores with a jab to the body.
This is a great period of action - very entertaining stuff!

Foster clobbers Sparrow with an overhand right that has the crowd gasping. That made a horrendous noise.

Foster drops Sparrow with a beautiful combination! Sparrow stares up at his opponent, who ushers him back to his feet - Foster is looking for the KO!

It looks like Jason Sparrow has been cut.
Foster throws a nice looking combination but Sparrow bobs and weaves to avoid any damage.
Foster bobbing and weaving, closes the distance and lands a hook to the side of Sparrow's head.
Sparrow is still on wobbly legs! Can Foster finish him?
Foster cracks a nice hook into Sparrow's ribs.
Sparrow seems to have recovered his senses.
Foster scores with a jab. Sparrow acknowledges it with a nod of the head.

A jab-cross combination lands for Foster and sends Sparrow crashing to the mat! Foster follows him down to the mat - Sparrow regains half guard but he's not out of trouble yet!
Foster lands a big elbow from half guard. That looks like it's hurt Sparrow quite badly. Sparrow pulls Foster in close trying to recover. Foster postures up and lands two really hard shots that put Sparrow on queer street! The ref takes a look and decides to call an end to the fight! Possibly an early stoppage but Sparrow doesn't seem to be complaining too much.
