The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Goat fails in his attempt to clinch.
Goat has a takedown stuffed.
A telegraphed takedown attempt from Goat is defended easily by Jones.
Jones wants to clinch but Goat slips to the side

and Goat counters with a nice double leg into side control. Jones won't be happy with that.

Goat tries for an arm triangle. That looks pretty tight to me. Is this one over!?! Possibly, maybe, no Goat has let go of the choke. Obviously it wasn't as tight as we thought!
We've seen a great period of action over the last minute or so - credit to both fighters for going all out!
Goat in side control lands a decent elbow.
Goat is looking to take a break and control but Jones is keeping him honest, looking to work from the bottom.

Goat tries to cartwheel into mount but he doesn't manage it.

Goat has worked his way into a potential kimura here. Jones is trying to get out of the position but his squirming has just got him deeper into trouble. Goat yanks on the arm and Jones is forced to tap due to a very painful looking submission! Nice work by Goat.
