And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner.
With a record of 4 - 0 - 0, fighting out of St Petersburg, Miguel Mallorca!
The judges for this bout are Dmitry Maklakov, Vladimir Khabensky and Illya Tyunina.




The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Trippaaja shoots in for a takedown. "Ole!" shouts Mallorca as he jumps to the side.
Trippaaja is trying hard to land a takedown here. Mallorca sprawls well and keeps this one on the feet.
Mallorca scores with a big left there. The judges will like that one.

Mallorca gets caught flat footed, as Trippaaja shoots in with a quick takedown into guard.

Trippaaja is trying to work a guillotine from the top, or something like that? Don't know how he thinks he's going to get a finish from there.

Trippaaja postures up as if he's going to throw some strikes but drops back for an ankle! Mallorca is in big trouble! He looks ready to tap! But no, he's escaped and dives on top of Trippaaja, into his guard.
Trippaaja has a closed guard, preventing Mallorca from standing up.

Trippaaja has a loose triangle. He'll be looking to tighten that up but Mallorca can see exactly what he's planning and manages to posture up and free himself.

The crowd are starting to boo a lack of action.

Trippaaja looking for a guillotine here but Mallorca defends easily.

Trippaaja is throwing his legs up, looking for submissions. Mallorca is aware though and is defending well.
Trippaaja might be looking to lock onto one of his opponent's long limbs for a submission, whilst we're on the ground.
Mallorca tries to stand but Trippaaja is controlling from the bottom.

Trippaaja shoots in and drives through. Mallorca sprawls well.

Mallorca lands a nice hook to Trippaaja's body. Trippaaja takes it in his stride and looks to land his own strikes.
Mallorca throws a hard body shot but it just misses.

Mallorca keeps the fight standing with a nice sprawl.
Mallorca uses good footwork to get in and out and land a nice right hand before Trippaaja has time to react.
Mallorca lands a vicious shot with the stealth of a sniper and the strength of a viper. Are vipers that strong? I can think of lots of things that are stronger than a viper - not many rhyme with sniper though.
Mallorca lands a jab to the nose.
Trippaaja avoids the body shot from Mallorca.
Mallorca has used his reach advantage pretty well so far tonight.
The crowd applaud the fighters efforts here as the round comes to an end.
Mallorca connects with a looping left hand that seems like it dazed Trippaaja momentarily.
Trippaaja is looking to take this fight into the clinch.

Mallorca lands a left and a right that send Trippaaja crashing to the mat, dazed. Mallorca thinks about following him to the mat but decides to wave him back up to his feet!
And that’s the end of the round – the fighters go back to their corners.

Miguel Mallorca dominated that round.
The fighters get back to their feet, the hooter sounds and we're back to the action!


Mallorca throws a nice hook to the body that draws an oooh from the crowd.
Trippaaja showing good head movement there, avoiding the strikes from Mallorca.
Mallorca stalks Trippaaja and leaps in with a furious combination of punches. Uppercuts and crosses smash into Trippaaja's face. Trippaaja staggers backwards, shaken.
Trippaaja shoots in with a takedown attempt and he has Mallorca pinned against the cage. Mallorca gets the underhooks and manages to circle away.
Mallorca looks to score with a combo but nothing lands.
Coco Trippaaja seems to be the more aggressive standup fighter in this bout.
Danga de danga de dang - Mallorca scores with a four punch combination!
Trippaaja walks straight into an uppercut. Luckily it didn't land flush.
Mallorca works his jab well there, keeping his opponent at a distance.

Oh Trippaaja is still all over the place! His legs are completely gone! Will he be able to recover?!!
Fantastic stuff here - a very entertaining period of action, which has drawn cheers from the crowd.
Trippaaja takes a shot right to the liver - Bas would have been proud of that punch.

Mallorca fakes a head shot and lands one to the body.
Both fighters are absolutely exhausted here.
Trippaaja takes a shot to the body in his stride.
Trippaaja seems to have got his legs back now.
Mallorca lands a nice hook to Trippaaja's body. Trippaaja takes it in his stride and looks to land his own strikes.
Trippaaja tries to move into range but Mallorca moves to the side and lands with a nice right hand.
Trippaaja looks shocked there as he takes a right hand to the temple.
Mallorca bobs and weaves and unloads with a good uppercut.
We've seen a great period of action over the last minute or so - credit to both fighters for going all out!

Donk. Mallorca catches Trippaaja right on the button with a cross.
Mallorca lands with a nice body punch.
Mallorca throws an overhand right from the outside, which connects and sends Trippaaja stumbling backwards into the cage! Trippaaja bounces back off the cage towards Mallorca, who cracks him with a two punch combination that drops him to his knees! Mallorca lands two more shots before the referee has chance to intervene - what a finish! Mallorca celebrates with his corner as the crowd cheer loudly.

Ladies and gentlemen, after 1:53 of round 2, we have a winner by way of TKO (Punches). Miguel Mallorca!
