The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Huggins shoots in for a takedown. He's persisting with it as Price sprawls well. Price wins this battle and keeps the fight standing. Huggins gets slowly back to his feet.
Price tries to bum rush Huggins with a series of wild strikes but Huggins uses good footwork to avoid the assault.
Price throws a monster uppercut resembling something out of street fighter but it doesn't land.

This is turning into a torrid day at the office for Huggins. He's trying desperately to land a takedown but he's failing miserably and getting slapped silly on the feet to compound his misery.

Price shoots for a double leg takedown but Huggins sprawls well. He's pushed Price's face into the mat and manages to get back to his feet relatively easily.

The crowd are starting to boo a lack of action.

Huggins swings around for an armbar but Price sees it coming a mile off and turns beautifully into Huggins's guard.
Price makes a bit of distance and scores with some ground and pound, still in guard.
Sam Huggins has stepped it up - he knows he needs a finish here!

Huggins working from the bottom, still in full guard. He's managed to get a loose triangle. Price doesn't seem to be doing much to defend here, obviously he feels comfortable in the position. Price manages to throw the legs off his shoulder and he's back into guard - no problem.

Huggins escapes his hips to the side and looks to be working for an armbar. Price gives him a little smile and shakes his head. No chance.

That was a close round. You could make an argument for either fighter but I would give it to Sam Huggins.
Well Price has outworked and out performed his opponent in all aspects of the game today. He was simply too good and the decision should be no more than a formality. Over to the ring announcer for the scorecards.
