Coming up we have a middleweight MMA rules bout between Dirk Diggler (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and Whisky Dan (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). Dan has chosen "I'm a man" by Black Strobe as his entrance music. Fingers crossed for an exciting fight - I'm sure both fighters are looking for a nice under the table bonus!

The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Dan throws a nice outside leg kick.

Dan is looking to take this fight into the clinch.

Well. There's a bit of a lull in the action here and the crowd are starting to get restless.

Diggler stands up and looks to throw the legs aside to pass to side control. Dan swivels though and keeps the full guard.

Diggleris looking to pass into half guard but Dan pushes him away with his feet and jumps on top - now Dan is in guard.
The fighters are starting to perspire pretty heavily.
Diggler trying to strike from the bottom but really, it's not the best position to be doing that from!
Diggler is working an open guard here, looking to improve his position. No doubt that will leave him open to counters but at least he's being more offensive.
Dan pushes down on Diggler's leg and manages to get into half guard.

Diggler is looking for a sweep. Dan is wise to his cunning plan and keeps the top position.

It looks like we're going to have a standup here. Neither fighter is doing enough on the ground.
Dan tries to clinch there but Diggler circles away.
Dan lands a head kick. Diggler smiles back at him and beckons him forward.
A slow jab from Diggler misses its intended target.

Diggler lands a straight punch to the body, keeping Dan at a distance.
Dan lands a leg kick. The shin dug right into the meat of the thigh.
The crowd thankful this round is nearly over.
Dan thumps Diggler with a low kick.
Diggler throws a body punch but Dan moves out of range.
Dan lands with a nice low kick. That'll leave a bruise.

Diggler shoots in looking for a single leg takedown. Dan is trying to defend but Diggler finishes it well and ends up in half guard. Let's see if he can advance position further.

That was a close round but I would say that Dirk Diggler will probably get the nod.
The minute break is over - no more time for sponges and pep talks - back to the action!

Dan throws a sloppy head kick and Diggler moves out of range easily.

Dan takes a body punch that cleary hurt but he's trying not to show any weakness.

Dan tries to clinch but Diggler is having none of it.

Dan throws a head kick that misses and slips in the process. He scrambles back to his feet and the fighters circle.

Diggler takes a swing at Dan's ribcage but misses.
Dan throws a right high kick that is partially blocked by Diggler.
Diggler misses with a body kick.
Dan slips under a jab.
Dan throws a leg kick that misses.

A clash of legs there as Diggler blocks the low kick.
Diggler fakes a head punch and goes low to the body. Nicely done.

and Diggler counters with a driving takedown into guard. Nice work there by Diggler.
Diggler throws a strike but Dan rolls with it and manages to sweep. Now he's in guard on top.

Diggler is looking for a guillotine. You can't force these things though and Dan defends well.

Diggler pushes a forearm under Dan's chin to create some space. He's escaped his hips and pivoted quickly for an armbar! Can he extend the arm? Yes, Dan is tapping out! Damn, that was fast!
