Coming up we have a lightweight MMA rules bout between Damir Klobucar (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and James J Jones (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). Klobucar comes to the cage accompanied by Kanye West-Stronger. James J Jones has the better chin. Will he look to stand and bang today?

The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Nice takedown defense from Jones. No joy for Klobucar on that attempt.
Klobucar tries to clinch but Jones is having none of it.

Jones wants to sweep but no luck.

Klobucar is trying to work a guillotine from the top, or something like that? Don't know how he thinks he's going to get a finish from there.

Klobucar drops back for a leg! It's a sloppy attempt though and Klobucar jumps back into guard quickly, to retain the dominant position.

Klobucar postures up as if he's going to throw some strikes but drops back for an ankle! Jones is in big trouble! He looks ready to tap! But no, he's escaped and dives on top of Klobucar, into his guard.
The fighters are pressed up against the cage, both looking to find a bit of space to work.

Klobucar has his foot on Jones's thigh. He's trying to push off and get in position for a triangle, I think. Jones works his way back into a safe position though.

Jones stands up and looks to throw the legs aside to pass to side control. Klobucar swivels though and keeps the full guard.
Jones is persisting with the attempt to improve his position.

Klobucar has a loose triangle. He'll be looking to tighten that up but Jones can see exactly what he's planning and manages to posture up and free himself.

Klobucar working from the bottom, still in full guard. He's managed to get a loose triangle. Jones doesn't seem to be doing much to defend here, obviously he feels comfortable in the position. Jones manages to throw the legs off his shoulder and he's back into guard - no problem.

Jones gets to his feet and steps away from his opponent.

Jones closes the distance and clinches.

Jones breaks the clinch.
Jones tries to clinch there but Klobucar circles away.
Klobucar avoids the clinch attempt nicely.

Jones feints and then dives in with a takedown. That was a long way out but the feint bought him enough time to close the distance and complete the takedown. Now we'll play guard for a bit and see who can get the better of that position.

Klobucar is looking for a triangle but Jones pushes his legs off easily.

Jones content to control the pace. The referee will try and keep them active though.

Jones is looking for a kimura. He might have it! No, Klobucar has escaped the position, nice work there.
Jones in side control lands a nice looking series of punches and elbows.
Klobucar manages to get back to half guard.
Jones uses his free foot to push down on Klobucar's thigh. Eventually he works his other foot free and he's advanced to mount - this is trouble for Klobucar.

We get told so often about how wrestlers don't like to be on their backs. Let's see if Jones can do anything to dispel that myth.

The ref warns both fighters not to hold the cage as they work up against the meshing.

Klobucar has hold of the far side arm. He's working for the Kimura, can Jones defend it? Klobucar steps over the head and cranks it - Jones is tapping out! That was textbook stuff right there - nice submission victory for Klobucar!
