Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the light heavyweight division.
Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner.
With a record of 4 - 4 - 0, fighting out of London, Dave Banks!
And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner.
With a record of 4 - 2 - 0, fighting out of London, Enzo De Luca!
The judges for this bout are James Atkins, Sam Margolis and William Gold.




The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
A head kick misses from De Luca.
Banks shapes like he's going to throw a leg kick but settles back down.

De Luca is looking to regain half guard here but Banks keeps moving and retains side control.

The crowd are hurling abuse towards the fighters... You can hardly blame them though because there isn't a lot going on in the fight.

De Luca throws a body kick that sends a sickening thudding noise reverberating around the arena.

It looks like Dave Banks has been cut.
De Luca lands with a thumping leg kick.
De Luca throws a right hand that Banks ducks under and follows up with a left that Banks also avoids with ease.

Banks gets caught flat footed, as De Luca shoots in with a quick takedown into guard.

Neither fighter has done anything of merit for a good minute or two here and the crowd are not happy about it.

Banks takes a really solid shot there but just smiles back and shrugs his shoulders.

De Luca shoots in for a takedown and gets it. Oh and he's advanced to full mount straight away.

Banks is squirming around, avoiding De Luca's attempts to control the action.
The fighters are trapped in the ropes so we're going to have a reposition here. The ref calls for a break and repositions the fighters in the center of the ring.

De Luca lands an elbow that was bordering on illegal but the referee lets it go with a warning.

Banks's corner are shouting for him to stand up but that's bad cornering - how is he meant to stand up when he's mounted? He should be looking to improve his position on the ground before trying to stand back up.
Both fighters are absolutely exhausted here.

De Luca is landing with some decent strikes but Banks is trying to advance his position so the referee is letting the fight continue.

Banks is on the wrong end of a nice combination from De Luca.

De Luca goes for an armbar but he's fallen flat on his backside there and now Banks is on top in guard.

De Luca escapes his hips to the side and looks to be working for an armbar. Banks gives him a little smile and shakes his head. No chance.

It looks like we're going to have a standup here. Neither fighter is doing enough on the ground.

A lull in the action here being met with boos from the crowd.

The corners get their ten second warning. Both fighters stand from their stools and stare eachother down, ready to get back to the action. This is the final round!

De Luca shoots for a double leg takedown but Banks sprawls well. He's pushed De Luca's face into the mat and manages to get back to his feet relatively easily.

Well De Luca has outworked and out performed his opponent in all aspects of the game today. He was simply too good and the decision should be no more than a formality. Over to the ring announcer for the scorecards.
