Coming up we have a middleweight MMA rules bout between Ezikiel Robertson (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and Reggie Franklin (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). Franklin comes into a darkened arena with his song building. Heat it up kicks in, the lights come on and the crowd goes wild! What a showman! Reggie Franklin has the eye of the tiger tonight.

And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner.
With a record of 6 - 5 - 0, fighting out of Helsinki, Reggie Franklin!

The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Robertson fails in his attempt to clinch.

Franklin closes the distance and pushes Robertson back into the cage.
Robertson is trying to work for a single leg takedown but Franklin pulls him back up using the underhooks.

Franklin will no doubt start fighting again in a minute but for now he's just having a little rest, leaning Robertson up against the cage.

It looks like Ezikiel Robertson has been cut.
Robertson's head jolts backwards as he takes an uppercut right on the button!

Robertson tried to land a shot to the body but connects with Franklin's elbow.
Franklin lands a hook to the body. It's hard to tell if that hurt Robertson or not.
Franklin has a body lock and is looking for a takedown. Robertson is bouncing around trying to prevent the takedown and somehow he has indeed managed to stay on his feet.

Robertson is fighting off a takedown attempt but Franklin is just too persistent for him and manages to trip Robertson to the mat. Robertson regains guard as soon as the fighters hit the mat.

The fighters are pressed up against the cage, both looking to find a bit of space to work.

Well, the referee has seen enough. Neither fighter is active enough on the ground so he's stood them back up.
Robertson circles away from the clinch attempt.
Robertson shoots in looking for a takedown. Franklin tries to sprawl out of it but Robertson keeps driving through. The fighters are pinned against the cage. Franklin manages to get underhooks and after a bit of a struggle, circles away and we're back to standing.

A lull in the action here being met with boos from the crowd.

and Franklin holds on and brings the fighters into a clinch.
Robertson wants to stall.
Robertson is pressed up against the cage. Franklin has hold of a leg and is looking to drag Robertson down to the mat. Robertson avoids the attempt though and has circled away. We're back to striking at a distance.

Franklin is trying to drag Robertson to the mat but Robertson just about manages to keep his footing. He used the cage to his advantage there.
The crowd applaud the fighters efforts here as the round comes to an end.
Franklin tries to jump guard but he falls flat on his backside. Robertson smiles and moves away.
And that’s the end of the round – the fighters go back to their corners.

Franklin cracks Robertson with a nice body shot.
Robertson tries to pull guard but Franklin won't allow it.
Franklin lands an elbow inside that Robertson shrugs off.

Neither fighter has done anything of merit for a good minute or two here and the crowd are not happy about it.

Robertson stands up and looks to throw the legs aside to pass to side control. Franklin swivels though and keeps the full guard.

Robertson knows he needs to get back to his feet asap. He's simply no match for Franklin on the ground.

Franklin lands with a couple of good shots - one to the side of the head and one questionable shot that could be viewed as to the back of the head but the referee lets it go.

Robertson jumps guard but his hands slip and he falls flat on his back. Well, he's made himself look a right mug there, as Franklin walks away with a smile on his face. Robertson gets slowly back to his feet and shakes his head.

I've got Franklin winning every round here. Surely the decision will go his way and he'll pick up a well deserved decision victory. Over to the ring announcer for the scorecards.
