Coming up we have a super heavyweight MMA rules bout between Ilmari Laine (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and Michael Nunn (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). On his way into the cage it seems that Ilmari Laine has been attacked by a crazed fan! It looks like it might have been the just bleed guy! Luckily Ilmari Laine seems to be OK! I thought that lunatic was in prison!?

The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Nunn is the aggressor but that punch slipped nicely by Laine.
Nunn misses the jab.
Nunn keeps his opponent at a distance with a nice jab.

It looks like Ilmari Laine has been cut.

Laine feints and then dives in with a takedown. That was a long way out but the feint bought him enough time to close the distance and complete the takedown. Now we'll play guard for a bit and see who can get the better of that position.

Nunn wants to stand and escape but Laine is having none of it.

Neither fighter is doing enough for the referee's liking and he's decided to stand them back up.

Laine moves into the clinch.

Laine lands a right uppercut that snaps the head of Nunn backwards.

It looks like Michael Nunn has been cut.
Nunn tries to break the clinch but Laine is controlling the position.

Nunn tries to throw a body punch but Laine avoids it by throwing Nunn back against the cage.
Still in the clinch, Laine scores with a nice short uppercut.

The crowd are getting on the fighters' backs, as the pace has dropped off in the last minute or so.

Laine slows down the pace here.
Laine tries to score a body lock takedown but Nunn shows good agility there to stay on his feet.
Laine is working for takedown but Nunn is calmly controlling the position for now.
Nunn lands a left hand that snaps the head of Laine backwards.
Laine is trying to work for a single leg takedown but Nunn pulls him back up using the underhooks.
That's three failed takedown attempts in the round for Ilmari Laine. That's going to take a lot out of him.
Laine lands a hook to the side of the head.
Laine misses with the head strike.
The referee calls for Laine to work.
Nunn lands a left hand.
Laine keeps the fight in the clinch, despite Nunn's efforts to push away.
An uppercut on the inside fails to land for Laine.

Nunn throws a nice looking combination but Laine bobs and weaves to avoid any damage.

Nunn lands a big uppercut and Laine crumbles to the floor! The ref thinks about stopping the fight but Laine looks OK. Nunn waves Laine back to his feet!

Laine is rocked!
Nunn grits his teeth and throws a big right-left combo! Laine takes both shots clean on the chin and is out cold! Nunn cracks him once more on his way down, as the crowd goes wild! They enjoyed that one!
