Braids comes to the cage accompanied by I Made It" (Cash Money Heroes). Shane is bobbing his head along to his entrance song: KARDINAL OFFISHALL 'WE GON GO' . Beanie Braids had a look across the cage there at his opponent. He definitely means business

The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Shane feints and then cracks Braids's leading leg with a nice low kick. He's obviously looking to slow Braids down.
Braids looks exhausted already! Oh dear, he should have come in in better shape than this!
Shane tries to clinch but is not successful on this occasion.
Shane lands with a nice low kick. That'll leave a bruise.
Shane scores to the head and body with a nice combination!

It looks like Beanie Braids has been cut.
The fans in attendance giving it up for the two fighters, who have really let it all hang out in the last minute or so!

Shane clinches up against the cage.
Shane is looking to score with knees to the body. Maybe he'll change it up and go body then head. Braids is defending well for now.

Shane lands a big head kick that sends Braids tumbling to the mat! Shane takes a step backwards and waves Braids back to his feet - he wants the finish!

Shane feints a jab and as Braids dips his head, Shane unleashes a brutal head kick that catches Braids right on the jaw! Timbeeer! Braids falls backwards in slow motion, only propped up by the cage! Shane smiles a psychotic smile as he stares down his unconscious opponent. That is a scary man.

Ladies and gentlemen, after 0:46 of round 1, we have a winner by way of KO (Head Kick). Jones Shane! Jones Shane retains his lightweight title!
