The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Sanders shoots in for a takedown but Stevenson shows good takedown defense.
Stevenson changes levels and scores with a jab to the body.

Sanders uses good footwork to avoid the strikes from Stevenson.

Sanders really doesn't want to stay on the ground with Stevenson. If he can't get it back to his feet, it's only a matter of time before he'll be tapping out.
Stevenson gets to his feet and calls his opponent to stand. Here come the fireworks!

Fantastic stuff here - a very entertaining period of action, which has drawn cheers from the crowd.
Stevenson is working for what looks like an arm triangle here. Sanders is trying to escape and Stevenson transitions quickly into an armbar! He's slapped it on tight and Sanders is forced to tap! Nice work there by Stevenson! Very nice indeed!
