The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Darwin closes the distance and clinches up with Spartacus, looking for a takedown. Darwin pushes Spartacus against the cage but Spartacus circles to the side and manages to break the clinch.
Darwin looks for a takedown here. Will he get it? Spartacus is fending him off so far but Darwin persists. Nope, Spartacus circles away and we're back to standing.
Darwin fails with the takedown.
Mr Spartacus has stuffed three takedown attempts in the round now. That's going to take a lot out of Charles Darwin.
Spartacus thuds his right hand into Darwin's forehead from close range. That could be painful for both fighters.
