The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Smith blocks a leg kick.

SISI throws a combination but it was largely blocked by Smith.

SISI decides to change it up a bit and drives through with a nice takedown into half guard.

Despite being in the dominant position, Jack Smith just isn't active enough and the referee decides to stand the fighters back up.

Smith uses decent footwork to sidestep a right hand from SISI.
Well, he's not going to score with shots like that. A lazy body kick attempt from Smith.
Smith throws a jab, cross combination which is slipped
and SISI counters with a quick right hand to the jaw.
SISI moves out of range of the body kick from Smith.

That was a close round. You could make an argument for either fighter but I would give it to AIe SISI.
