The bell rings for round one and we are underway!

Wilsijvacia gets in close and instigates a clinch.
Wilsijvacia is trying to maintain a safe position but Brown gets an underhook and turns Wilsijvacia into the cage.
An uppercut to the body lands inside from Wilsijvacia.
Wilsijvacia wants to break free but Brown has control.

Wilsijvacia has clasped his hands together around Brown's back... aaand, he's got a takedown into side control. Nicely done.
Brown is trying to improve his position.
Wilsijvacia is looking to take a break and control but Brown is keeping him honest, looking to work from the bottom.
Brown can't do much from the bottom here.
Brown might have to switch it up a bit here because his efforts to control Wilsijvacia kaven't been going to plan, at least at the current moment in time.
Brown manages to get back to half guard.
Wilsijvacia slips a nice elbow through Brown's hands, connecting with Brown's forehead.

Wilsijvacia wants to work for an arm triangle but Brown is really keeping half guard well and defending the submission attempt.
Brown throws a strike from the bottom that misses.
Brown wants to improve his position but Wilsijvacia is controlling well.

Well, the referee has seen enough. Neither fighter is active enough on the ground so he's stood them back up.
Wilsijvacia looks frusrated there after his takedown attempt is stuffed easily.

Wilsijvacia shoots in and bounces Brown off the cage to secure the takedown into guard.

The ref warns both fighters not to hold the cage as they work up against the meshing.

Brown working from mount. He moves in close and looks like he might be going for an arm triangle... He's hopped off to the side and he's transitioned into an Anaconda choke. Wilsijvacia turning a nasty shade of purple. He's refusing to tap but he's gone! He's out! The ref rips Brown off and cradles Wilsijvacia's limp body as Brown celebrates with his corner.
