Coming up we have a lightweight MMA rules bout between John Melbrooks (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and Bobby Boxhead (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). Melbrooks comes to the cage accompanied by Motorhead - Smiling like a killer. Boxhead has chosen Go For Soda as his entrance music. Both fighters will be looking to make this an exciting fight for the fans, I'm sure!

The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Melbrooks throws a head kick but Boxhead moves out of range.
Melbrooks takes a body punch that cleary hurt but he's trying not to show any weakness.

Boxhead slips in close and lands a nice hook before moving back out of range.
Boxhead punishes Melbrooks's body with a nice straight punch.

Boxhead lands with a hook. Melbrooks tried to avoid it but it clipped the top of his head.
Boxhead lunges at Melbrooks with a hook that half lands and is half blocked by Melbrooks's hand.
Melbrooks scores with a big left there. The judges will like that one.
Oooooooooooh, not good. A low kick from Melbrooks lands where it shouldn't have, right in the... well, you know what he did? He kicked him in the penis. He's injured, injured bad. The referee sends both fighters to their corners and Boxhead has 5 minutes to recover. He's OK now though... a thumbs up from Boxhead and we're back underway with a touch of gloves.
Boxhead wings a very wild body shot but it does the job and lands to the midsection.

Oh Melbrooks is still all over the place! His legs are completely gone! Will he be able to recover?!!

Boxhead lands a vicious shot with the stealth of a sniper and the strength of a viper. Are vipers that strong? I can think of lots of things that are stronger than a viper - not many rhyme with sniper though.

The crowd are going absolutely nuts as the round comes to an end - what a fantastic round of action!

Boxhead is landing a lot of head punches in this opening round! Melbrooks had better start moving his head a bit unless he wants his face to turn into pâté.
Melbrooks takes a jab right on the nose. That must have hurt but he shrugs his shoulders and looks to return the favor.

Melbrooks with poor footwork there. He got himself in a bit of a tangle, enabling Boxhead to score with a decent uppercut.
