Coming up we have a light heavyweight MMA rules bout between Michael Tyson (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and Coulton Maguire (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). We have two fighters making their debuts here, so let's see who comes out of this one with their first professional victory.

The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Maguire shoots in for a takedown but Tyson shows good takedown defense.

Maguire jumps to the side looking to secure the arm triangle…. Ooooh, that looks tight… Tyson is gargling but he's managed to escape! Nice work there by Tyson and Maguire has given up the dominant position trying to land that submission.

Maguire is trying to land an Americana. He has the arm isolated but Tyson is keeping cool and he's avoided the danger for now.

Both fighters are looking to counter, which isn't making for the most exciting fight in the world.
Maguire throws a leg kick but Tyson moved away.
Maguire is looking to take this fight into the clinch.

We've seen a great period of action over the last minute or so - credit to both fighters for leaving it all in the cage!
Tyson wants to get back to his feet but Maguire is in a dominant position and won't allow it.

Maguire closes this distance looking for a takedown but Tyson circles away.

Tyson pushes Maguire away and creates a bit of space to escape. He's almost out here... but no, Maguire gets a good hold of his legs and remains firmly in side control.

There's not a lot going on here and the crowd are letting the fighters know they're not willing to tolerate a lack of action.
Tyson is not content to let Maguire control the position.

Maguire throws a strike aimed at the side of Tyson's head but Tyson avoids it well.
Tyson is looking to get back to his feet here but Maguire is keeping cool and he's managed to take Tyson's back.

Maguire looks for a takedown here. Will he get it? Tyson is fending him off so far but Maguire persists. Nope, Tyson circles away and we're back to standing.

Maguire wants to control from the top but Tyson keeps moving.
Maguire is looking to advance position but Tyson has hit a scissor sweep - now he's on top in mount!
Tyson is trying to stand up but he's being controlled by his opponent.
Maguire takes a big intake of breath there - he's definitely tired.
Tyson prevents Maguire from getting the reversal.

Tyson is standing up out of mount! Strange tactic there - he must really want this one on the feet!

and Maguire counters with a takedown into full mount! That could mean trouble for Tyson!
You get the feeling that Tyson really doesn't like being in this position too much.
The fighters are pressed up against the cage, both looking to find a bit of space to work.
Maguire connects with a couple of good shots from mount.

Maguire wants to take Tyson's back here but Tyson is holding on to an arm, himself looking to escape.
Maguire wants to control the pace but Tyson is squirming around nicely.

Maguire has hold of Tyson's left arm, perhaps looking for a submission. The two fighters tussle over control of the isolated limb and Tyson manages to get his arm back to his side and away from danger.

Maguire is thinking about an arm triangle here, looking to tighten it up before moving to side control. Tyson can see it coming though and defends well with a couple of strikes to the head and some good arm positioning.

The crowd are showing their displeasure at the lack of action as loud boos ring out around the arena.
Tyson's corner are shouting for him to stand up but that's bad cornering - how is he meant to stand up when he's mounted? He should be looking to improve his position on the ground before trying to stand back up.
