Coming up we have a heavyweight MMA rules bout between D Bag (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and Bubba Gump (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). Bubba Gump has the eye of the tiger tonight.

Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the heavyweight division.
Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner.
With a record of 0 - 0 - 0, fighting out of Montreal, D Bag!
And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner.
With a record of 1 - 0 - 0, fighting out of Montreal, Bubba Gump!
The judges for this bout are Elvis Blanc, Dillan Fox and Yves DeLean.




The bell rings for round one and we are underway!

Bag forces Gump back against the cage and clinches.

Gump's corner calls for him to break the clinch, which he does.
Gump throws a head kick that misses and slips in the process. He scrambles back to his feet and the fighters circle.
Gump shoots in for a takedown - he's clinched up with Bag but Bag pushes him off and we're back to square one.
Bag shoots for a double leg takedown but Gump sprawls well. He's pushed Bag's face into the mat and manages to get back to his feet relatively easily.

Gump closes the distance and clinches.
Gump can't get the takedown.
Bag goes for a takedown attempt but Gump pushes him away and we're back to fighting at a distance.
Bag is breathing heavily.
A telegraphed takedown attempt from Gump is defended easily by Bag.
D Bag has stuffed three takedown attempts in the round now. That's going to take a lot out of Bubba Gump.
Bag throws a body kick but he wasn't in range.
Gump dives in and grabs Bag's left leg, looking for a takedown. Bag pushes down on Gump's head and hops out.

Gump fakes an overhand right and shoots for a takedown. Bag sprawls well initially but Gump persists and gets the takedown into half guard.

That's one minute gone in the round.
Gump trying to control from half guard but Bag is working away.
Bag wants to improve his position but Gump is controlling well.
Gump trying to pass the guard but Bag defending well.
Gump thumps the canvas. Not on purpose obviously - he just missed Bag's head.
Gump tries to stand but his hand is stuck under Bag.
Bag is looking to improve his position.

That's two minutes gone in the round.
The crowd are getting on the fighters' backs, as the pace has dropped off in the last minute or so.
Bag wants to control but Gump is keeping busy.

Neither fighter is doing enough for the referee's liking and he's decided to stand them back up.
Gump fails with the takedown

and Bag counters with a shoot takedown into half guard.
Gump wants to get back to full guard.
The fighters are pressed up against the cage, both looking to find a bit of space to work.
Gump is trying to defend against the ground and pound but Bag scores with a couple of nice shots.
Gump makes his way to full guard. A much better position for Gump.

That's three minutes gone in the round.
Bag is frustrating his opponent with some stalling tactics from top position.
Bag stops Gump from standing up.
Bag passes into half guard.
Still in half guard, Bag seems content to control.
Bag thows a wild elbow that connects with the canvas.

That's four minutes gone in the round.
My god... these two guys really need to pick up the pace or everyone will leave to go get a beer.
Bag tries to pass the half guard into mount. Gump knows what he's doing though and prevents the attempt.
Gump really doesn't want to stay on the ground with Bag. If he can't get it back to his feet, it's only a matter of time before he'll be tapping out.
Bag is working hard here to advance position.
Bag is keeping good posture, landing some ground and pound.
Nice strikes from Bag there.

Bag stands up and beckons Gump to join him on the feet.
Bag misses with a series of wild punches.
And that’s the end of the round – the fighters go back to their corners.

D Bag dominated that round.
Well, the break between rounds is over. Let's get back to the scrappin!


The fight stays on the outside here - Gump looks like he's thinking about clinching though.
Bag throws a low kick but his opponent is out of range.
Gump misses with a takedown attempt - Bag sprawls well and throws a nice strike on the way out which just misses.
Bag tries to clinch but Gump moves away

and Gump counters with a nice shoot takedown that brings the fighters to the ground.
Bag trying to control the position.

Gump stands up from Bag's guard - Gump perhaps looking for a knockout.
Bag swats away the attempt to clinch by Gump.
Both fighters are absolutely exhausted here.

That's one minute gone in the round.
Gump with a lazy takedown attempt

and Bag counters with a nice double leg into side control. Gump won't be happy with that.
Gump tries to buck Bag off but Bag is having none of it.

Bag decides to stand up, so the ref orders Gump to his feet.
Gump shoots in but Bag avoids the takedown attempt easily.
D Bag has stuffed three takedown attempts in the round now. That's going to take a lot out of Bubba Gump.

Bag feints and then dives in with a takedown. That was a long way out but the feint bought him enough time to close the distance and complete the takedown. Now we'll play guard for a bit and see who can get the better of that position.
Bag slips effortlessly into side control - very nice.
Bag working the ground and pound.

That's two minutes gone in the round.
Bag is moving around in side control but his primary objective seems to be to maintain the position.
Gump is not content to let Bag control the position.
Gump tries to work a leg under to get back to half guard but Bag wriggles his own leg back out and remains in side control.
Gump looks to move to half guard but instead Bag has passed into mount! Damn!
Gump is in all sorts of trouble here.

That's three minutes gone in the round.
Gump is in a horrible position here. Bag smacks him with another shot as he tries to escape the position.
Gump trying desperately to get to his feet.
D Bag overall seems to be getting the better of the ground position in the fight so far.
Bag controlling his opponent.
Bag tries to control but Gump wriggling away.
Gump wants to hold on but Bag pushes him away.

That's four minutes gone in the round.
The crowd are getting on the fighters' backs, as the pace has dropped off in the last minute or so.
Bag looking to control and managing it successfully.
The crowd growing excited in anticipation of a finish here! Right on cue, Bag cracks his opponent with a massive right hand that draws loud cheers!
Bag avoids the attempt from Gump to control.
A nice elbow there by Bag.
And that’s the end of the round – the fighters go back to their corners.

D Bag dominated that second round.
The fighters get back to their feet, the hooter sounds and we're back to the action! This is the final round!


Gump tries to score a power double leg takedown but Bag sees that one coming and sprawls well. That will dishearten Gump somewhat.
D Bag is looking to throw some combinations by the looks of things.

Bag shoots in looking for a single leg takedown. Gump is trying to defend but Bag finishes it well and ends up in half guard. Let's see if he can advance position further.
Gump won't allow Bag to pass to mount.
Gump trying to control here.
Gump is trying to avoid being dragged into an even worse position than he's already in but Bag is staying active.
Bag performing his best blanket impression for a moment.
Both fighters are breathing heavily.

That's one minute gone in the round.
Gump pushes Bag off looking to stand but Bag dives back in and keeps control.
Gump is using up a lot of energy trying to get back to his feet. Perhaps he should improve his position first.
Bag sitting and controlling from the half guard.
Bag thows a huge punch but Gump dodges it nicely.

That's two minutes gone in the round.
Neither fighter has done anything of merit for a good minute or two here and the crowd are not happy about it.

The referee has ruled that neither fighter is active enough on the ground and has stood them back up.
Gump lunges in with swinging rights and lefts but Bag circles away quickly and effectively.

Bag changes levels and drives through with a really nice takedown into side control. Gump looks really pissed at himself for not defending that better.
Bag working away.
Bag is looking to take a break and control but Gump is keeping him honest, looking to work from the bottom.
Bag throws an elbow but Gump slips to the side and avoids it well.

Bag thinks about going for a far side armbar but bails out and retains the dominant position instead.

Bag decides to stand back up. Bag steps back and let's Gump get back to his feet.

That's three minutes gone in the round.

Bag gets a takedown into half guard.

Bag decides to stand up and try his luck on the feet.
Gump shoots and misses

and Bag counters with a shoot takedown into half guard.
Bag tries to stand but his hand is stuck under Gump.
Gump is not content to let Bag control the position.

That's four minutes gone in the round.
Bag throwing shots but Gump is blocking nicely.
Bag wants to pass the guard but Gump is defending well.
Gump trying to control from the bottom.
The ref warns both fighters not to hold the cage as they work up against the meshing.
Bag looking to pass the half guard. Not this time.

Bag is sneakily working for an arm triangle but Gump sees it coming and defends easily.
Bag with a momentary lay and pray from half guard.

And that's the end of the fight!
D Bag showed his dominance in that final round.
Well Bag has outscored his opponent in every aspect of the fight today. Only a scarily incompetent judge or two will keep him from a well deserved win... Over to the ring announcer for the scorecards.
