Coming up we have a welterweight MMA rules bout between Ivan Emelianenko (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and Joseph Stevenson (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). Stevenson has chosen Higher Ground - Red Hot Chili Peppers as his entrance music. I can't wait for this one - let's get the fighter introductions out of the way and get this one started!

Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the welterweight division.
Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner.
With a record of 8 - 6 - 0, fighting out of Montreal, Ivan Emelianenko!
And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner.
With a record of 8 - 7 - 0, fighting out of Montreal, Joseph Stevenson!
The judges for this bout are Alec Ball, Robert Douchet and Dillan Fox.

The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Stevenson changes levels and looks for a double leg takedown. Emelianenko tries to avoid it but Stevenson manages to keep hold of a leg and drag Emelianenko to the ground. Emelianenko escapes though and pops straight back up to his feet.
Stevenson misses with a takedown attempt. He shot from a bit too far out.
Stevenson drops his hands momentarily and Emelianenko takes advantage with a crisp shot to the head.
Emelianenko scores with a jab to the jaw of his opponent.
Emelianenko bobs and weaves and throws out a fast jab that snaps Stevenson's head backwards.
Emelianenko lands with a straight right. Stevenson didn't see that one coming.
Nice shot lands for Emelianenko.
Emelianenko throws a hook to the body but it doesn't connect.
Stevenson has his hands up protecting his head but a hook from Emelianenko finds it's way round the side to connect with Stevenson's head.
This is a great period of action - very entertaining stuff!
Stevenson walks into a straight right hand from Emelianenko.

Emelianenko sends Stevenson crashing to the mat with a devastating uppercut! Emelianenko is motioning to the referee to let Stevenson up. He wants to try and finish this one on the feet!

Stevenson is rocked!
Emelianenko fakes a head shot and lands one to the body.
Stevenson looks gassed!
Emelianenko throws a shot to the body.
Emelianenko ducks low and lands a nice hook to the body of his opponent.

Emelianenko cracks Stevenson with a big right hand that sends him to the floor! Stevenson looks wobbly but he's sprung back up to his feet straight away… can Emelianenko finish him?
Stevenson is still on wobbly legs! Can Emelianenko finish him?
BOOM! Emelianenko lands a beautiful left hook that drops Stevenson. Stevenson tries to recover but Emelianenko is having none of it, landing more punishing shots from mount. One final crushing shot and Stevenson lies motionless on the canvas. The fight is over!
