The bell rings for round one and we are underway!

The referee decides to stand the fighters back up.
Slice throws a hard body shot but it just misses.

Smith is trying to drag Slice to the mat but Slice just about manages to keep his footing. He used the cage to his advantage there.

Slice breaks the clinch and we're back to striking at distance.
Slice throws a series of punches but Smith moves out of range.
Kimbo Slice seems to be the more aggressive standup fighter in this bout.
Slice tries to clinch but is not successful on this occasion.
Smith tries to land with a swinging hook to the body but Slice was well out of range. Poor timing from Smith.

This is a great period of action - very entertaining stuff!

Slice drops Smith with a beautiful combination! Smith stares up at his opponent, who ushers him back to his feet - Slice is looking for the KO!
