Coming up we have a heavyweight MMA rules bout between Hamir Rolofzki (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and Christopher Eccleston (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). Both fighters look fresh as a daisy as they make their way towards the cage.

Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the heavyweight division.
Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner.
With a record of 2 - 2 - 0, fighting out of Rio de Janeiro, Hamir Rolofzki!
And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner.
With a record of 2 - 2 - 0, fighting out of Rio de Janeiro, Christopher Eccleston!
The judges for this bout are Thiago Cunha, Paulo Santos and Leandro Rodrigues.




The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Rolofzki fails in his attempt to clinch.

Eccleston should think about turning a few of those tyres round his middle into muscle if he wants people to take him seriously as an athlete.

We've had a slow start to the round here - hopefully the action picks up.

We get told so often about how wrestlers don't like to be on their backs. Let's see if Eccleston can do anything to dispel that myth.
Eccleston wants to stand but Rolofzki is controlling the position.

It looks like we're going to have a standup here. Neither fighter is doing enough on the ground.
Rolofzki uses some good footwork to avoid the body shot by Eccleston.
Eccleston throws a hook to the body but it doesn't connect.

Christopher Eccleston seems to be the more aggressive standup fighter in this bout.

The crowd are hurling abuse towards the fighters... You can hardly blame them though because there isn't a lot going on in the fight.
Rolofzki just misses with a punch to the body.

Neither fighter has done anything of merit for a good minute or two here and the crowd are not happy about it.
Eccleston is trying to get back to his feet but Rolofzki has full control of the position and if anything, Eccleston has just worked his way into a worse spot.
The fighters are pressed up against the cage, both looking to find a bit of space to work.
Eccleston covering up well under a barage of strikes.
Rolofzki is controlling the position but Eccleston somehow manages to roll and ends up with half guard.

Well, the referee has seen enough. Neither fighter is active enough on the ground so he's stood them back up.

Rolofzki gets caught flat footed, as Eccleston shoots in with a quick takedown into guard.
Rolofzki might be looking to lock onto one of his opponent's long limbs for a submission, whilst we're on the ground.
Rolofzki lands a beautiful switch and he's in full mount! That could spell trouble for Eccleston!

Rolofzki is looking to finish here, going for an Americana. Eccleston knows the correct defense though, so he's OK.
Rolofzki postures up a little and throws a couple of hammerfists but they don't connect properly.

Eccleston tries to escape but Rolofzki is in control.
Rolofzki wants to control but Eccleston is keeping him busy.

Rolofzki decides to take the fight back to the feet.

The crowd are getting on the fighters' backs, as the pace has dropped off in the last minute or so.

Eccleston is really trying hard to get back to his feet.

A few boos can be heard. I'm sure they will multiply if the fighters don't pick up the pace.

Rolofzki moves into side control, trying to work for a kimura. That looks painful! Will he finish!!?? No, Eccleston has worked his arm free - good work by Eccleston!
Rolofzki throws a knee to the body but it doesn't do much damage.
The crowd thankful this round is nearly over.
Eccleston is trying to buck Rolofzki off.
Eccleston gives up the full mount - oops, sloppy defensive grappling there!
And that’s the end of the round – the fighters go back to their corners.

Hamir Rolofzki dominated that second round.
That's time! Back to the action! The crowd applaud as we get ready to start the final round!

Rolofzki shoots in for a double leg but Eccleston sprawls well. That's going to sap some energy.

Eccleston ducks under an overhand right and circles away with a smile on his face.
Eccleston takes a big intake of breath there - he's definitely tired.

and Rolofzki counters with a thumping low kick.
The fight stays on the outside here - Rolofzki looks like he's thinking about clinching though.

and Rolofzki counters with a nice double leg into side control. Eccleston won't be happy with that.

Eccleston is pushing Rolofzki's head away, looking to escape. Rolofzki manages to hold on to the position though.

Eccleston is looking to work some ground and pound but Rolofzki has wrist control.

As the round comes to an end the crowd are showing their appreciation for a great round of action.
