PBP Commentary

Coming up we have a light heavyweight MMA rules bout between LeMac Red (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and XyD Xrovich (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). Red comes into the arena with shimmy she wobble blaring out of the sound system. Both fighters look pumped up here. Let's hope this is a good fight!

Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the light heavyweight division.
Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner.

And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner.
With a record of 4 - 0 - 0, fighting out of London, XyD Xrovich!
The judges for this bout are Andrew Berry, Colin Fotheringham and Daniel Bishop.

The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
A telegraphed right hand from Xrovich misses the target.
Red wants to clinch.
Red looking to take his opponent's legs away with the low kicks.

Red takes the fight into the clinch.

Red escapes the clinch and we're back to striking.
Xrovich throws a right hand that Red ducks under and follows up with a left that Red also avoids with ease.
XyD Xrovich seems to be the more aggressive standup fighter in this bout.

Excellent takedown into side control there by Red.
Red working away.
Red happy to just control the position for now.
The fighters are pressed up against the cage, both looking to find a bit of space to work.
Xrovich manages to get one leg in to regain half guard.

Red wants to pass to mount but Xrovich is defending the position.
Red is trying to control. Xrovich wants to improve his position but can't escape this time.
Red prevents Xrovich from improving his position.
Red is keen to just control but Xrovich is a slippery customer.
Xrovich has no desire to be mounted, so is trying to control. Red is working away from the top position though.

The crowd are starting to boo a lack of action.

Well, the referee has seen enough. Neither fighter is active enough on the ground so he's stood them back up.

Red clinches with his opponent.
Red throws a nice elbow but it doesn't land.
Xrovich wants to strike at distance but he can't break free of the clinch.
Red misses with a punch on the inside.
Red makes some space for himself and lands an uppercut.

Red pushes off and circles away, back to the middle of the mat.
A punch lands to the side of Red 's head but he takes it in his stride.
Red doesn't manage to clinch there - Xrovich circles away.
Xrovich throws a big shot that misses.
Xrovich swats away the attempt to clinch by Red.
The fight stays on the outside here - Red looks like he's thinking about clinching though.
Red misses with a takedown attempt - Xrovich sprawls well and throws a nice strike on the way out which just misses.
Red uses good footwork to avoid the strikes from Xrovich.

Xrovich connects with a nice looking jab.
A lazy left from Xrovich finds it's target.
Red takes a shot to the eye socket. That's gotta hurt.
Xrovich slips under a jab.
Red moves away from the strike by Xrovich.

Red instigates a clinch.
Red is trying to slow down the pace in the clinch, to catch his breath.
Red tries a shoulder strike but it doesn't do any damage.

Red breaks the clinch and we're back to striking at distance.
Xrovich cracks Red with a good jab.
XyD Xrovich is looking to keep the fight on the feet at all costs.

Xrovich has used his reach advantage pretty well so far tonight.
The crowd cheering loudly, showing their appreciation for the quality fight we're seeing here.

Xrovich avoids the clinch attempt nicely.
Xrovich lands a jab to Red's midsection.
Red is breathing heavily.

Xrovich feints and then winds up with a huge right hand that connects perfectly and sends Red sprawling to the canvas! Red rolls over backwards and springs off the cage and manages to regain his footing - how acrobatic! Oh, he's still wobbly - can Xrovich finish him?!

Red is rocked!

Red walks into a straight right, dropping him to the canvas! Xrovich swarms him and finishes the fight with a hail of punches! What a brutal finish!
