Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the middleweight division.
Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner.

And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner.

The judges for this bout are Alexandre Firmino, Seu Braga and Felipe Paraventi.
The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Machado shoots in for a takedown and gets it. Oh and he's advanced to full mount straight away.
Nunes defends a decent attempt at a guillotine from Machado.
Nunes's corner are shouting for him to stand up but that's bad cornering - how is he meant to stand up when he's mounted? He should be looking to improve his position on the ground before trying to stand back up.
Machado can't quite control the action as he would like just now, as Nunes is looking to escape.
Machado tucks in and makes sure he doesn't lose the dominant position.
Nunes wants to get back to his feet.
The ref warns both fighters not to hold the cage as they work up against the meshing.
Machado sitting in mount, just looking to control for the moment.

Machado has hold of Nunes's left arm, perhaps looking for a submission. The two fighters tussle over control of the isolated limb and Nunes manages to get his arm back to his side and away from danger.
Nunes is looking to get back to his feet - it's going to be hard from this position.
Machado jumps to side control looking for an arm triangle but Nunes manages to avoid the submission attempt.
Nunes is being controlled here.
Nunes is pushing Machado's head away, looking to escape. Machado manages to hold on to the position though.

Machado trying to control the action but Nunes is working from the bottom.
Machado is trying to land an Americana. He has the arm isolated but Nunes is keeping cool and he's avoided the danger for now.
Machado wants to lay and pray for a moment but Nunes keeps working.
Machado is working for what looks like an arm triangle here. Nunes is trying to escape and Machado transitions quickly into an armbar! He's slapped it on tight and Nunes is forced to tap! Nice work there by Machado! Very nice indeed!
