Coming up we have a welterweight MMA rules bout between Asamoah Mensah (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and Ben Cero (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). Mensah comes to the cage accompanied by Simple Man. Cero has chosen Invincible by Adelitas Way as his entrance music, which hasn't gone down very well with the crowd. Asamoah Mensah has the edge in experience - let's see if he can make that count tonight.

Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner.

And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner.

The judges for this bout are Tarja Halkonen, Anni Minnemäki and Arvi Lind.

The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Mensah connects with a single shot there.
Cero fails with a takedown attempt from distance.
Cero sees a low kick coming and goes to check it, but it's actually a body kick and it thuds into his unprotected ribs.
Cero shoots in with a takedown attempt and he has Mensah pinned against the cage. Mensah gets the underhooks and manages to circle away.
Mensah scores with a head kick.
Mensah throws a quick head kick that skims the top of Cero's head.
Mensah misses with a half-hearted attempt at a head kick.
Cero shoots for a takedown but Mensah saw that one coming a mile off and avoided it easily.
Asamoah Mensah has stuffed three takedown attempts in the round now. That's going to take a lot out of Ben Cero.
Mensah swings away but doesn't land with a series of punches.

and Mensah counters with a crisp hook to the side of the head.
This is a great period of action - very entertaining stuff!

and Mensah counters with a nice kick to the body.
Cero takes a head kick and keeps coming.

Cero shoots for a double leg takedown but Mensah sprawls well. He's pushed Cero's face into the mat and manages to get back to his feet relatively easily.
Cero looks gassed!
Mensah plants his feet and lands a nice head kick!

Cero is rocked!
Mensah rushes forward with a series of wild hooks but Cero moves out of range and avoids them all easily.
Cero is still on wobbly legs! Can Mensah finish him?
The fighters circle, before Mensah throws a beautiful high kick that crashes into Cero's neck, sending him stumbling to the floor! Mensah lands more strikes and forces a referee stoppage! That one ended in an instant!
