Coming up we have a light heavyweight MMA rules bout between Joe Bale (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and Jim Rough (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). Both fighters look fresh as a daisy as they make their way towards the cage.

Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the light heavyweight division.
Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner.

And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner.

The judges for this bout are William Gold, Chris Edwards and Colin Fotheringham.
The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Rough takes a shot right to the liver - Bas would have been proud of that punch.
Bale stuffs a takedown. It's all about dictating where the fight takes place and Bale wants it to stay on the feet.
Rough shoots in but Bale avoids the takedown attempt easily.
Rough dives in and grabs Bale's left leg, looking for a takedown. Bale pushes down on Rough's head and hops out.
Joe Bale has stuffed three takedown attempts in the round now. That's going to take a lot out of Jim Rough.
Rough shoots in for a takedown. "I don't think so" says Bale as he avoids it easily.
Bale leaves Rough with his face pressed against the mat as he sprawls beautifully, defending against a solid takedown attempt.
Bale moves into range and throws a lovely three punch combination.
It looks like Jim Rough has been cut.
Bale fakes with a right hand and throws a good leg kick, right into the thigh. That had to hurt Rough.
Bale lands with a nice low kick. That'll leave a bruise.
Bale with a hook.
Rough takes a thudding leg kick, right into the meat of the thigh.
Bale clinches with his opponent.
The fans in attendance giving it up for the two fighters, who have really let it all hang out in the last minute or so!
Bale breaks the clinch and we return to the middle of the mat.
Rough has his head slapped from side to side by a 3 punch combination. That must have hurt him.
Rough looks gassed!
Bale slaps away a takedown attempt from Rough, before circling back to the center of the mat.
Bale dances in quickly and lands a nice inside leg kick on Rough. That did some damage!
Bale lands a head kick. Rough smiles back at him and beckons him forward.
Bale scores with a nice one two combo and darts back out of range to avoid anything coming in the opposite direction.
Rough looks for a takedown here. Will he get it? Bale is fending him off so far but Rough persists. Nope, Bale circles away and we're back to standing.
Bale lands with a shot to the body.
A chopping leg kick lands by Bale.
Bale looks to land a combination. Rough sees it coming but can only parry a couple of the shots.
That has opened up Jim Rough's cut even more.
Bale throws a two punch combo that lands nicely.
That's one minute gone in the round.
Bale scores with a nice one two combo and darts back out of range to avoid anything coming in the opposite direction.
Bale stalks Rough and leaps in with a furious combination of punches. Uppercuts and crosses smash into Rough's face. Rough staggers backwards, shaken.
Rough is rocked!
Nice jab there from Bale.
Rough is still on wobbly legs! Can Bale finish him?
Nice cross by Bale.
The cut above Jim Rough's eye is starting to cause him problems now.
Bale throws a nice inside leg kick.
Rough seems to have recovered his senses.
Bale lands an overhand right.
Rough has his hands up protecting his head but a hook from Bale finds it's way round the side to connect with Rough's head.
Bale is using his reach advantage well here, landing the more effective single shots from range.
Rough fakes high and shoots in for a takedown but Bale avoids it really well and circles away.
Rough should think about turning a few of those tyres round his middle into muscle if he wants people to take him seriously as an athlete.
Bale lands three nice shots there - that looked like it hurt!
The crowd are loving this. Great action here.
Bale gets to the clinch - let's see what his plan is here.
Bale has dropped down and is working for a takedown. Rough is trying to keep an underhook but Bale manages to get the takedown into half guard.
We could do with one of the fighters taking the initiative a bit more on the ground - they're both waiting to capitalize on a mistake.
Bale stands up from half guard.
Left hook, right uppercut from Bale.
Jim Rough's cut is absolute horrible now. This looks like something out of a horror film with blood covering both fighters.
Joe Bale is looking to keep the fight on the feet at all costs.
Bale pushes Rough up against the cage in a clinch.
Bale stalling in the clinch.
The crowd are getting pretty annoyed with Bale for his constant stalling in the clinch and are voicing their displeasure.
Rough tries to jump guard but he falls flat on his backside. Bale smiles and moves away.
Bale scores with a slapping inside leg kick.
That's two minutes gone in the round.
Bale lands a high kick!
A left lands for Bale.
Bale darts in and clinches Rough up against the cage.
Rough wants a takedown.
Bale escapes the clinch and we're back to striking.
Bale connects with a leg kick. He turned his hip over nicely there.
Bale is working the combinations to good effect here.
A right-left combo lands from Bale.
The referee calls the doctor in to look at Jim Rough's cut. Oh no, the doctor has called an end to the bout!
Ladies and gentlemen, after 2:27 of round 1, we have a winner by way of TKO (Cut). Joe Bale!
