Coming up we have a heavyweight MMA rules bout between Rolly Alvarado (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and Intisar Ahmed (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). The fight MMA fans around the world have waited their entire lives for!

Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the heavyweight division.
Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner.
With a record of 2 - 2 - 0, fighting out of Tokyo, Rolly Alvarado!
And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner.
With a record of 1 - 2 - 0, fighting out of Tokyo, Intisar Ahmed!
The judges for this bout are Shigeki Sano, Kenichi Hosakawa and Ren Mimura.




The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Ahmed tries to close the distance and clinch up against the cage but Alvarado paws at him with a jab and circles away.
Alvarado shoots in for a takedown. He's persisting with it as Ahmed sprawls well. Ahmed wins this battle and keeps the fight standing. Alvarado gets slowly back to his feet.
Ahmed throws a good cross that connects.
Alvarado takes a head kick and keeps coming.


It looks like Rolly Alvarado has been cut.
The fight stays on the outside here - Ahmed looks like he's thinking about clinching though.

Alvarado shoots in and bounces Ahmed off the cage to secure the takedown into guard.
Ahmed is looking to stand up but Alvarado isn't so interested in that idea.
Ahmed is avoiding any damage by keeping wrist control.
The ref warns both fighters not to hold the cage as they work up against the meshing.
The crowd cheering loudly, showing their appreciation for the quality fight we're seeing here.
Ahmed tries to land a sweep but no joy.
Alvarado lands a couple of digs.
Ahmed is working an open guard here, looking to improve his position. No doubt that will leave him open to counters but at least he's being more offensive.

That's one minute gone in the round.
Alvarado throws a strike but Ahmed rolls with it and manages to sweep. Now he's in guard on top.
Ahmed is in close to Alvarado's body, working some short punches and elbows.
Ahmed should think about turning a few of those tyres round his middle into muscle if he wants people to take him seriously as an athlete.
Ahmed wants to control from the top but Alvarado keeps moving.
Alvarado wants to stand and escape but Ahmed is having none of it.
Alvarado wants to get back to his feet but he's too absorbed in his own little project and Ahmed manages to pass to side control.

The fighters are pressed up against the cage, both looking to find a bit of space to work.
Ahmed seems very keen to just sit and control from half guard but Alvarado does not like that idea so much and is remaining active off his back.

That's two minutes gone in the round.
The crowd are hurling abuse towards the fighters... You can hardly blame them though because there isn't a lot going on in the fight.

Neither fighter is doing enough for the referee's liking and he's decided to stand them back up.
Ahmed doesn't succeed with the takedown

and Alvarado counters with a nice double leg into half guard.
Alvarado is breathing heavily.
Alvarado thows a wild elbow that connects with the canvas.
Ahmed is looking to control Alvarado's leg but it's slowly edging free. Can Ahmed avoid being mounted?
Ahmed avoiding damage under a succession of punches from Alvarado.
Ahmed is looking to regain full guard. Not this time though.
Alvarado is scoring with some nice ground and pound from the dominant position.
Alvarado working over Ahmed with some ground and pound. Ahmed looks like he wants out of this position, which is understandable.
Ahmed manages to get to full guard.

That's three minutes gone in the round.
Ahmed utilising some decent striking defenses from the guard, preventing the ground and pound.
Ahmed is looking to stand up but Alvarado isn't so interested in that idea.
Alvarado distracts Ahmed with his right hand and drops a big elbow with his other arm.
Alvarado is looking to work some ground and pound but Ahmed has wrist control.
Alvarado won't allow Ahmed to get back to his feet.
Alvarado postures up and scores with a shot to the body and a follow up elbow to the head.
Alvarado stands up over Ahmed, holding his feet. He dives back in and lands a decent shot to the head.
Ahmed utilising some decent striking defenses from the guard, preventing the ground and pound.

Well, the referee has seen enough. Neither fighter is active enough on the ground so he's stood them back up.
Ahmed closes the distance but Alvarado moves to the side

and Alvarado counters with a nice shoot takedown that brings the fighters to the ground.

That's four minutes gone in the round.
Alvarado works over Ahmed with some ground and pound from guard.
Ahmed working the defensive guard well to avoid strikes from Alvarado.
Alvarado cracks Ahmed with a solid left hand.
Ahmed lands a beautiful switch and he's in full mount! That could spell trouble for Alvarado!
Alvarado is trying to get to the cage to help him get back to his feet.
Ahmed trying to control but he's not successful this time.
Ahmed landing strikes, looking to finish!
As the round comes to an end the crowd are showing their appreciation for a great round of action.
Ahmed can't quite control the action as he would like just now, as Alvarado is looking to escape.
You get the feeling that Alvarado really doesn't like being in this position too much.
And that’s the end of the round – the fighters go back to their corners.

The fighters' corners scream their final instructions, as the referee calls time. Here we go, back to the action!



Alvarado closes the distance and clinches up, looking for a takedown. He shifts his weight and gets a nice trip into half guard.
Ahmed is working for an escape here. He's hooked one of Alvarado's legs and he's managed to sneak out and take Alvarado's back!
Ahmed is looking to control Alvarado but Alvarado is wriggling around and keeping busy.
Alvarado is trying to get back to his feet but he's not managed it yet.

What can Alvarado do to escape this position? He's going to have to figure it out pretty quick if he wants to stay in the fight!

Ahmed is working for the choke. It looks like he might have got it... has he...? Yes! Alvarado is tapping out! This one is all over!
