Coming up we have a welterweight MMA rules bout between Art Connelly (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and Bobbie Jones (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). Connelly's ring entrance music is that housewives' favourite, Deep down n dirty - Stereo mc's. Bobbie Jones looks lathargic as he enters the arena. Wake up son, you're about to have a fight!

The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Good exchange - Connelly coming out on top.
Jones tries to clinch but Connelly is having none of it.

Connelly feints and as Jones raises his hands in defense, Connelly changes levels and drives through with a takedown into guard.
We've seen a great period of action over the last minute or so - credit to both fighters for going all out!

Neither fighter is being very active at the moment, with Connelly in particular looking to stall.

The ref warns both fighters not to hold the cage as they work up against the meshing.
Connelly winds up and cracks Jones with a swinging punch to the side of the head.

The referee walks around the fighters to get a better view of the action. Connelly lands a nice short elbow.
Connelly takes advantage of the dominant position to land a couple of big hammer fists.

Connelly attempts a leg kick but it's missed by a good margin.

Connelly bobs and weaves and throws out a fast jab that snaps Jones's head backwards.

Fantastic stuff here - a very entertaining period of action, which has drawn cheers from the crowd.

Connelly clobbers Jones with an overhand right that has the crowd gasping. That made a horrendous noise.
Connelly throws a jab to the body, straight down the pipe. Boom. That sent Jones stumbling backwards but he manages to regain his composure quickly.
Jones gets cracked there but stands up to it.
Connelly lands a big right hand and follows it up with an uppercut. Oh and another big punch and a knee - Jones can't take much more of this! Another big shot to the jaw from Connelly and Jones drops to the floor. Beaten and bloodied - he had enough there. A vicious beatdown by Connelly.
