Coming up we have a middleweight MMA rules bout between Paul Evans (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and carl jordan (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). I can't wait for this one - let's get the fighter introductions out of the way and get this one started!

Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the middleweight division.
Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner.

The judges for this bout are Steven Brown, Donald Grub and Chris Edwards.
The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Evans throws a combination but comes up with nothing but fresh air.
jordan misses with a jab and misses with a cross straight after too.
jordan rushes forward with a series of wild hooks but Evans moves out of range and avoids them all easily.

Both fighters circling a little - jordan finishes the exchange with a kick to the body.

Evans thinks about going for a far side armbar but bails out and retains the dominant position instead.

Evans lands a big shot. The thud that echoes around the arena is like music to the fans' ears.

That was a close round but I would say that Paul Evans will probably get the nod.
OK. That's time! The bell goes and we're back to the action.
Evans wants to clinch.
jordan tries to grapple but his opponent circles
and Evans counters with a big head kick but jordan shrugs it off.

Evans looks for a takedown here. Will he get it? jordan is fending him off so far but Evans persists. Nope, jordan circles away and we're back to standing.
jordan shoots in but Evans avoids the takedown attempt easily.
jordan fakes with a right hand and throws a good leg kick, right into the thigh. That had to hurt Evans.
We've had a slow start to the round here - hopefully the action picks up.
Evans tries to clinch but jordan moves out of range.
jordan tries to bum rush Evans with a series of wild strikes but Evans uses good footwork to avoid the assault.
Evans tries to land a front kick but jordan steps back. That was a bit too telegraphed.

Evans moves into the clinch.
jordan tries to take the fight to the ground by pulling guard but can't manage it.
Paul Evans has stuffed three takedown attempts in the round now. That's going to take a lot out of carl jordan.
jordan is trying to break the clinch but Evans has him pressed against the cage.
Evans decides to pull guard.

Evans's corner calls for him to break the clinch, which he does.

jordan keeps the fight on the outside.
Evans throws a head kick that misses and slips in the process. He scrambles back to his feet and the fighters circle.
A clash of legs there as Evans blocks the low kick.
Evans shoots in for a takedown! He's got it and he's managed to land in full mount! That's better than Evans was expecting from the takedown attempt, I'm sure!

The crowd growing excited in anticipation of a finish here! Right on cue, Evans cracks his opponent with a massive right hand that draws loud cheers!

Evans is still in mount, landing shots to his trapped opponent. jordan can't stay in a position like this for much longer.
jordan is still in real trouble! Can Evans finish him?
Evans postures up and lands a whopping elbow - oh that's hurt jordan bigstyle! Two more strikes land for Evans and the fight is over!
