The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
A head kick misses from Rookshaw.
Boucher misses with a wild combination.
Boucher uses good head movement to avoid the hook from Rookshaw.
Boucher checks the leg kick nicely there.
Bobby Boucher seems to be the more aggressive standup fighter in this bout.
Boucher misses with a two punch combination.
Rookshaw throws a decent looking leg kick but it doesn't land clean.
Rookshaw tries to clinch up.
Boucher throws a lazy right hand but Rookshaw sees it coming a mile off and sidesteps it easily.
Rookshaw swings and misses with a hook to the body.
Rookshaw slips a straight right by Boucher.
Boucher keeps the fight on the outside.
Rookshaw tries to close the distance and clinch but Boucher swats him to one side with an open hand palm strike and circles away.
We've had a slow start to the round here - hopefully the action picks up.

Boucher lands with a nice combination. Rookshaw backs away looking to recover.
Some bone on bone action there as Boucher checks a low kick. Luckily it wasn't a particularly hard one.
Rookshaw throws the kick towards the body but Boucher avoids it.

Boucher paws at his opponent with the jab and then lunges in with a straight, right on the button.

Boucher throws an overhand right that lands on Rookshaw's shoulder, as Rookshaw tries to avoid the shot.
Rookshaw attempts a leg kick but it's missed by a good margin.
A lazy left from Boucher finds it's target.
Rookshaw lands with a slapping head kick.

Boucher moves out of range as Rookshaw throws a body kick.
Boucher fails to land with the punch combination there - jab, cross, hook, miss, miss, miss.
Rookshaw misses with a combination
and Boucher counters with a nice uppercut.
Boucher swings wildly with a right hand that was never going to find it's target.
Boucher throws a nice looking combination but Rookshaw bobs and weaves to avoid any damage.
A clash of legs there as Boucher blocks the low kick.
Rookshaw throws out a loose jab but Boucher uses good head movement to avoid it.
Boucher keeping his hands up high there, blocking the jab from Rookshaw.
Boucher falls off balance throwing a combination
and Rookshaw counters with a head kick. That will keep Boucher thinking before he tries any more sloppy attacks!

Nice straight punches there by Boucher. You know Roy Jones Jr respects the hands of Boucher.
Rookshaw takes a big uppercut there. He seems a bit wobbly but no, he's OK.

Boucher digs a good body shot into Rookshaw's ribs.
Rookshaw is breathing heavily.
Boucher is the aggressor but that punch slipped nicely by Rookshaw.
Boucher throws an overhand right that drops Rookshaw like a sack of potatoes! Boucher dives in to finish the fight with more strikes and this one is all over!
