Coming up we have a light heavyweight MMA rules bout between Hector Hill (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and Donovan Postin (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). Over to our ring announcer for the fighter introductions!

Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the light heavyweight division.
Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner.
With a record of 4 - 0 - 0, fighting out of Hilo, Hector Hill!
And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner.
With a record of 1 - 0 - 0, fighting out of Hilo, Donovan Postin!

The bell rings for round one and we are underway!

Postin shoots in and bounces Hill off the ropes to secure the takedown into guard.
Postin content to strike from guard, landing some decent shots.
Postin thows a big elbow that misses.
Postin working some ground and pound from guard but it's not doing any damage.
Hill on his back here. We all know that wrestlers don't like being on their back so let's see if Hill tries to get out of the position.
Hill has his hands on Postin's head, controlling the position.

Postin got a little sloppy there for a moment and Hill has worked his way into a loose triangle - can he finish it?! No, Postin has managed to get both his arms back between Hill's legs - danger averted.

Hill has his foot on Postin's thigh. He's trying to push off and get in position for a triangle, I think. Postin works his way back into a safe position though.

Postin is looking for an arm triangle, whilst trying to pass to side control. Hill doesn't seem that keen to cooperate though. No luck this time Postin.

Neither fighter is doing enough for the referee's liking and he's decided to stand them back up.
Postin looks for a takedown here. Will he get it? Hill is fending him off so far but Postin persists. Nope, Hill circles away and we're back to standing.

Well. There's a bit of a lull in the action here and the crowd are starting to get restless.

Hill throws the overhand right but ducks down into a quick takedown attempt. Postin was covering up waiting for the punch and Hill finishes the takedown easily into guard.

The fighters are tangled up in the ropes here. We might need a restart if the fighters can't break free themselves.

Postin is looking for a sweep. Hill is wise to his cunning plan and keeps the top position.

Postin is working from a closed guard but he's struggling to control his opponent.
Hill stands up over Postin, holding his feet. He dives back in and lands a decent shot to the head.

Hill has been looking to land a fair amount of strikes on the ground. He might be looking to soften his opponent up in order to work for a submission.

Hill drops back, looking for a kneebar! Postin looks panicked! The fighters roll across the mat, one looking to finish, one looking to escape. Postin looks to have wriggled free... Yes, he's got his leg free and he's dived into side control! Good work there from Postin!

You can see the frustration on Hill's face, being in this tough position on the bottom.

Well, the referee has seen enough. Neither fighter is active enough on the ground so he's stood them back up.
Hill fails miserably with a takedown attempt.
And that’s the end of the round – the fighters go back to their corners.

Hector Hill dominated that second round.
The minute break is over - no more time for sponges and pep talks - back to the action! Ladies and gentlemen, this is the final round!



Hill changes levels and drives through with a really nice takedown into side control. Postin looks really pissed at himself for not defending that better.
Postin is looking to reverse the position.

The fighters are trapped in the ropes so we're going to have a reposition here. The ref calls for a break and repositions the fighters in the center of the ring.
Postin can't do much from the bottom here.

Postin takes a big intake of breath there - he's definitely tired.
Hill looks up at the clock and then as Postin takes his cue and looks up at the clock too, Hill smacks him right in the chops with a big elbow! How rude!

Hill working hard here to secure a kimura but he's not really in the right position for it.

Hill has an Americana. Postin didn't react quickly enough there and he's in big trouble now! He tries to squirm out but is forced to tap! Hill is delighted and gyrates in front of the ring girls. They seem to like the attention - it'll be interesting to see if Hill hooks up with any of them at the after show party.

Ladies and gentlemen, after 1:05 of round 3, we have a winner by way of Submission (Americana). Hector Hill!
