Coming up we have a heavyweight MMA rules bout between jose recio (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and Johhny Moreno (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). recio comes to the cage accompanied by lose yourself. Moreno has chosen No Love as his entrance music. We have two fighters making their debuts here, so let's see who comes out of this one with their first professional victory.

The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Moreno circles away from the clinch attempt.

Moreno looking for a takedown here - he's got it.

The fighters are pressed up against the cage, both looking to find a bit of space to work.

Moreno stands up and waves to recio to follow him.

recio rushes forward with a series of wild hooks but Moreno moves out of range and avoids them all easily.

Moreno closes the distance, clinches up and gets a nice trip takedown into side control. Very smooth.

The referee decides to stand the fighters back up.

recio knows he needs to get back to his feet asap. He's simply no match for Moreno on the ground.

Moreno stands up from half guard... He's had enough of that ground malarky for the time being.
Moreno should think about turning a few of those tyres round his middle into muscle if he wants people to take him seriously as an athlete.

recio shoots in and drives through. Moreno sprawls well.

Moreno has taken the fight to the clinch.
Moreno has a body lock and is looking for a takedown. recio is bouncing around trying to prevent the takedown and somehow he has indeed managed to stay on his feet.

Moreno escapes the clinch and we're back to striking.
recio tries a switch kick but it misses it's target.

recio is looking to control Moreno's arms but Moreno gets an underhook and turns him. Now recio has his back to the cage.
Moreno lands a short shot on the inside that snaps the head of recio backwards.
The crowd applaud the fighters efforts here as the round comes to an end.
recio jumps guard but his hands slip and he falls flat on his back. Well, he's made himself look a right mug there, as Moreno walks away with a smile on his face. recio gets slowly back to his feet and shakes his head.

There's not a lot going on here and the crowd are letting the fighters know they're not willing to tolerate a lack of action.

The crowd are showing their displeasure at the lack of action as loud boos ring out around the arena.
Horrible takedown by Moreno or perhaps it was just good defense by recio which made him look bad.

Neither fighter has done anything of merit for a good minute or two here and the crowd are not happy about it.

Johhny Moreno is fighting for a decision here - he's started to take the cautious approach.

Moreno wants to finish this one by submission but recio is holding onto his waist, trying to prevent any attacks from Moreno.
