Coming up we have a welterweight MMA rules bout between Sean ODonnell (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and Gabriel Dickson (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). ODonnell comes to the cage accompanied by Going down to Boston by Dropkick Murphys. Dickson is bouncing up and down as he enters the arena, backed by Till I Collapse. Gabriel Dickson will no doubt be trying to keep this one on the feet, where he has a distinct advantage.

The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
ODonnell misses with a two punch combination.
ODonnell swinging wilding here.
A nice inside leg kick there by ODonnell. That's going to slow Dickson down.
ODonnell moves out of range of the leg kick from Dickson.
ODonnell is looking to slow Dickson down with leg kicks.
ODonnell throws a series of punches but Dickson avoids them all with ease.
Sean ODonnell seems to be the more aggressive standup fighter in this bout.
Dickson swats away the attempt to clinch by ODonnell.

ODonnell stands up and looks to throw the legs aside to pass to side control. Dickson swivels though and keeps the full guard.

Dickson has gone for a leg lock! ODonnell slips out almost immediately though and dives into Dickson's guard.

and Dickson counters with a shot to the ribs. That looked like it hurt.

ODonnell has his head slapped from side to side by a 3 punch combination. That must have hurt him.
ODonnell throws a left and a right that both miss
and Dickson counters with a three punch combination, finished off with a leg kick. Nice work.
ODonnell throws a looping left and ducks down for a takedown. He's got his arms around Dickson's waist but Dickson gets an underhook and avoids the takedown by throwing ODonnell off to one side.
ODonnell is looking to take this fight into the clinch.
Dickson scores with a sloppy punch to the body. Not much technique there but it did the business.

We've seen a great period of action over the last minute or so - credit to both fighters for leaving it all in the cage!

Dickson gets caught flat footed, as ODonnell shoots in with a quick takedown into guard.

The ref warns both fighters not to hold the cage as they work up against the meshing.

ODonnell changes levels and drives through with a really nice takedown into side control. Dickson looks really pissed at himself for not defending that better.
