The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Ytlear is looking to clinch but Jay is avoiding it.
Jay uses good footwork to get in and out and land a nice right hand before Ytlear has time to react.
Jay moving in and out of range nicely, whilst landing the scoring shot.
Jay scores with a hook to the body. Ytlear takes a step back and tries to catch his breath.
Jay connects nicely with a jab. Noted by the judges no doubt.
Jay stuffs the takedown.

Jay lands a powerful looking uppercut that connected with his opponent's jaw.
Jay scores with a nice one two combo and darts back out of range to avoid anything coming in the opposite direction.

Jay forces Ytlear back against the cage and clinches.
Ytlear wants a takedown but no success here.
Jay tries to land knees in the clinch but Ytlear avoids the damage to the body.
Ytlear is looking for a takedown up against the cage. Jay gets underhooks though and prevents the takedown attempt.

A bit of a lull in the action. I'm sure it will pick up again soon... even if the ref has to physically pick them up and put them back on their feet.

Jay is in a dominant position here, looking for a kimura. Ytlear looks calm but he's in trouble here. Jay gets his leg over his opponent's head and yanks on the arm. Ytlear is tapping like a morse code operator on the titanic! SOS! SOS! Jay lets go of the hold and Ytlear can pop his arm back in it's socket.
