Puska leaves Thompson with his face pressed against the mat as he sprawls beautifully, defending against a solid takedown attempt.
Mike Puska has stuffed three takedown attempts in the round now. That's going to take a lot out of Ste Thompson.

Puska closes the distance and looks for a trip takedown... aaaand he's got it - Puska lands in his opponent's guard.
Puska slips effortlessly into side control - very nice.

Thompson tries to escape but he's just digging himself in deeper - Puska cranks the arm and Thompson screams in pain! The ref makes a decision and ends the fight before the tap - no complains from Thompson, who is just happy to have his arm attached to his body.
