Coming up we have a middleweight MMA rules bout between Mario Oberg (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and Vasco Sousa (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). These two fighters really are very evenly matched on the feet - it will be fascinating to see who can assert themselves in that aspect of the fight.

Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner.

1 - 1 - 0, fighting out of Amsterdam, Mario Oberg!
And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner.

3 - 3 - 0, fighting out of Amsterdam, Vasco Sousa!
The judges for this bout are Daniel Blasius, Patrick Alders and Paulsen Ambrosius.
The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Sousa fails with an attempt to clinch.
A really sloppy takedown attempt there from Sousa.
Oberg fails with the takedown.
Sousa shoots in from a long way out. He's driving through with the takedown attempt and he eventually gets it, landing in Oberg's guard.
Oberg is looking to get back to his feet but can't, whilst Sousa is controlling him.

Oberg has momentary wrist control but Sousa slips an elbow through the middle.

Sousa sneaks a leg through and gets to half guard. That was like a knife through butter how easily he passed Oberg's guard.

Sousa is trying to control. Oberg wants to improve his position but can't escape this time.
Sousa moves into full mount! Oberg won't be happy about that!

Oberg is bucking up trying to escape but Sousa cracks him with another couple of good strikes.
It looks like Mario Oberg has been cut.
Oberg wants to control but Sousa is having none of it.

The crowd growing excited in anticipation of a finish here! Right on cue, Sousa cracks his opponent with a massive right hand that draws loud cheers!
Mario Oberg's cut is getting worse.
Sousa can't quite control the action as he would like just now, as Oberg is looking to escape.
