Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the middleweight division.

The bell rings for round one and we are underway!

Reznor feints and as Pirolla raises his hands in defense, Reznor changes levels and drives through with a takedown into guard.
We could do with one of the fighters taking the initiative a bit more on the ground - they're both waiting to capitalize on a mistake.
Reznor is intent on slowing down the pace of the fight, simply looking to control.

Reznor drops back for a leg! It's a sloppy attempt though and Reznor jumps back into guard quickly, to retain the dominant position.
Reznor is taking a break and basically stalling. The referee will not allow him to do that for long.
Reznor won't allow Pirolla to get back to his feet.

Reznor drops back looking for a leg! Pirolla is in trouble here! The fighters roll with the hold and Pirolla manages to kick Reznor off! Reznor jumps back into Pirolla's guard.
Pirolla is looking to stand up but Reznor isn't so interested in that idea.
Reznor passes easily into side control. Nice work.

Reznor wants to work for a kimura but he's foiled early by Pirolla, who protects the arm well.
Pirolla is pushing Reznor's head away, looking to escape. Reznor manages to hold on to the position though.

The fighters are trapped in the ropes so we're going to have a reposition here. The ref calls for a break and repositions the fighters in the center of the ring.

Reznor working hard here to secure a kimura but he's not really in the right position for it.
Reznor has knee on belly and moves into mount.

Pirolla is not a happy chappy… he wants out of there.

Reznor throws some shoulder strikes here and then postures up. Oh, he's gone for an armbar! Pirolla has his hands clasped together but Reznor breaks the hold and Pirolla is forced to tap! This one is aaaaaaaaaaall over! That was lightning fast by Reznor!
